Achieving M3A status by the National Accessible Scheme, almost every corner of this fantastic holiday let is accessible to all. Complete with biomass underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner, feel right at home in this warm and welcoming property. The open-plan living space is a wonderful place to socialise with loved ones. Admire the rustic wooden roof beams overhead from the comfort of the plentiful sofa seating, cook in the well-equipped kitchen and gather around the dining table to plan the next day's activities over a delicious meal. Heading outside, relax in the paved garden with feature planting whilst you enjoy your morning coffee, dine alfresco at the table and chairs or just sit back and listen to the sounds of the water feature and local wildlife. There is much to do within a 15-mile radius, with something for everyone no matter your group. Ride a steam train on the Severn Valley Railway, and visit Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site or numerous National Trust properties nearby. Explore Long Mynd – renowned for hang-gliding, witness the dramatic scenery of the Stiperstones, walk or cycle the Shropshire Way or enjoy a game at the second-highest golf course in England. The Cow House was excellent - well designed, clean and comfortable. Exactly as advertised; worked well for all of us including my 86 year old mother who has limited mobility. And in a really nice part of rural Shropshire.

This cottage is of a very high standard and really does allow those with access issues to holiday here. This is not always the case: some just pay lip service to the issues facing those with reduced mobility , but a lot of thought has been given to make this a safe environment. The Cow House is a very high quality cottage that is exceptionally well equipped, especially for anyone with mobility problems. It is located in a quiet area of beautiful Shropshire farmland - however, this does mean that most of the surrounding lanes are very narrow and can be busy with farm traffic at certain times of the year. This was our second visit, and the high standards of cleanliness and comfort were every bit as good as last year. You can't beat this property for peace and quiet, unless you are bothered by humming bees, the calls of swallows and jackdaws, or bleating sheep. I would recommend Cow House to anybody, the furnishings and fittings are all very good quality, a very well thought out property. What a lovely little break we had at The Cow House. We stayed with another family and the house didn't feel crowded at all. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at the Cow house . The barn had all the amenities we needed and has been renovated to a high standard. Lovely views and great space to walk the dog. Visited in October with two very elderly parents, both with restricted mobility. They both appreciated the features that made moving around the house & using the shower so safe and easy. All four of us found the property to be very peaceful and quiet. Inside, it is very comfortable and the wood stove blasts out extra heat when needed. The waterproof cushions provided kept us comfortable even on a windy day.We expected much more farm noise, but there was very little disturbance.
