In the winter, skiers and boarders will appreciate the proximity to skiing at Aonach Mor Ski Resort in the Nevis Range. For those seeking more leisurely outdoor pursuits, there are miles of glorious walks and bike rides to enjoy. The famous Jacobite steam engine, as featured in the Harry Potter films, runs from Fort William to Mallaig and offers a spectacular ride through mountains and glens.

Entering this lovely property with its soft yellow decor and natural wood flooring, you’ll find yourself in a huge, light vestibule, with a sweeping staircase and a wood burner to ensure a warm welcome. From this hallway, doors lead into the other downstairs rooms, including the large kitchen. Well-equipped and with a central breakfast table and double doors opening into the garden, the large kitchen also has double doors leading into the elegant dining room, making this the perfect space to gather together and socialise over a meal. Next door, the lovely lounge is a lovely cosy room to relax and unwind. Sit back with a drink and enjoy the beautiful views outside while the open fire keeps your feet toasty. Also downstairs is a twin bedroom and a handy shower room and WC. Heading up the stairs you come to a large gallery area where there is a comfy sofa and a TV – a perfect den for the children to enjoy. The master bedroom has a charming en-suite bathroom with a double ended bath and handheld shower. The double bedroom and twin bedroom are both furnished in simple comfortable style, and there is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a beautiful enclosed garden stretching to 3 acres, with a large lawn and a children’s play area with a treehouse, swing and slide. The large south-facing patio with garden furniture is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink while the children play or, on warmer days, to gather together for an al fresco meal. This property is fantastic. Very cosy and like a home from home. The views are simply stunning. Loved waking up every morning to them. Lighting the fire just adds to the warmth. Zafira was a perfect host and would recommend this property to others. A short walk into Spean Bridge to the local cafe where the staff were very pleasant. We also had a daRead morey trip to Oban, Loch Ness centre, Neptunes staircase and Nevis Range. All worth a visit. Hide
