Luxury accommodation in a former police station with games room, hot tub and enclosed garden. Superb location surrounded by beautiful countryside and just a walk away from cafés, pubs, shops and the Heritage Railway.

Experience a splendid group stay in this high-quality Welsh holiday home, which has a truly unique history. Originally a police station, the 19th-century property in Corwen, 9.5 miles from Llangollen, still retains features such as a barred iron gate. At the same time, it has been carefully and creatively converted to provide sumptuous accommodation with extra special touches such as a hot tub, games room, underfloor heating and beautiful walled garden. With four bedrooms, the holiday home can accommodate up to eight guests, who are welcome to bring along a couple of canine companions. From here, enjoy exploring Corwen and the surrounding area of North Wales. Venture 12 miles to the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park and plan days out to colourful Llangollen.

Open the door to this inviting retreat and make your way inside to discover its superb space. Leave your coats and footwear in the utility room, where you can also pop any damp walking gear into the washing machine, and head through to the stylish kitchen to make a cup of tea to enjoy with your freshly bought Welsh cakes. Prepare dinner in here too then lay the table through in the lounge/diner and call everyone to come and pull up a chair. Make your way over to the soft seating afterwards, stoke up the wood burner then find a film to enjoy on the Smart TV. Challenge each other to a table football match in the games room before possibly having a shower in the ground-floor wet room and making your way up the stairs to bed. Lay your head in any of the super-king-size rooms, all of which have zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins if discussed in advance. A chic family bathroom and a family shower room are also at this level. Bask out in the sunshine of the courtyard garden as often as the weather permits. Bubble in the hot tub, fire up the BBQ and find you have space to keep outdoor gear here too. The holiday home comes with parking for two cars.

Fantastic, quirky and spacious accommodation, with many interesting and original features, a fun place to stay! Spotlessly clean with excellent facilities, especially the 8 person hot tub. Great base to visit nearby places in the area and go for walks. Host on hand throughout the stay and very approachable at all times.

The property is simply outstanding, the original features of the building itself are magnificent but the finish, dressing and presentation of this property are simply outstanding. It is spotlessly clean, facilities are fabulous, the attention to detail amazing and the owner couldn't be more helpful. The only thing to be improved was the weather!
