Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, here you can unwind in space and comfort, enjoying time together as well as peace and quiet. Walk, sail, or golf in this stunning natural setting, with plenty of opportunity for all three on your doorstep. Keen birdwatchers will also delight at the many migrating birds that visit the North Norfolk coastline. Speaking of wildlife, hop on a boat at Blakeney Harbour (4 miles) or Morston Quay (2.5 miles) to spot the famous seals at Blakeney Point; this is a breeding site, so visit during the winter to see the newborn seal pups. Young children will love trying their hand at crabbing in Blakeney, or if you prefer to eat your crab, visit nearby Cromer (14 miles) and taste the famous Cromer crab, a local delicacy. While you're there, head to the beach to watch the Cromer Pier Show, which claims to be the only end of pier variety show in the world. Discover something for every generation at Pensthorpe Natural Park (13.5 miles), where four varied habitats attract their own unique species, and kids can enjoy the outdoor and indoor play areas.

Overnight parking no longer allowed at the nearby National Trust parking, nearest reliable parking spaces 10mins walk away at the town hall, so lots of faffing around with the cars over the week we stayed. We are unlikely to come back to the Corner Cottage until this is changed back to how it used to be, which is a shame as we love staying at CC.

This cottage is in a fabulous location in Blakeney, and offered spacious, clean and attractive accommodation for our party of 8. It is however, an old building, on a sloping site. Mariners Hill says it all. So be prepared for low head height on the stairs, into the kitchen area etc, and quite a few changes of level on the ground floor. With this inRead more mind, this is not an ideal property for the elderly and toddlers. Otherwise, well recommended. Hide
