With the sea on your doorstep, cast off your shoes, and take in the views from this glorious rural location; this property sits in a perfect position that you’ll not want to leave.

Fantastically located for a group of adventurers, this home is tucked away on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The shingly, sandy stretch of beach at Silecroft is less than half a mile from your door so you can enjoy beach days and pop home for more picnic treats or goodies if you need them. Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, this home is great for reuniting with family and friends and holidaying in lavish style. After long days in the great outdoors or salty days by the coast, the hot tub is the perfect welcome home and invites you to pop open a bottle or two as you bubble the night away.

Throwing heat into the first lounge, find a spot next to the wood burner to unwind after your journey and marvel at the far-reaching views over Black Combe Fell. As you sit and gaze out the window, imagining the panoramic views from the top of Black Combe will have you running to fetch a map to plan adventures which take you to the top. Brilliantly open-plan, the living space is great for filling with chatter and laughter. Gather with a cup of tea in the mornings and sit beneath the sky windows which let natural light flood inside, and spend afternoons with the bi-fold doors open to tempt you outside and into the tub. Fabulously sleek yet with warming comforts and tones, this space creates a welcoming heart of the home, perfect for spending quality time together and catering for all occasions. Whether you’re sipping a tipple, tucking into a snack or plating up a feast, the raised decking area is the place to be when the sun is shining and the air is warm. After busy days and lively evenings, you deserve a peaceful night’s sleep. Three bedrooms offer tranquil spaces for you to do just that, with two of the three king-size bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill shower room. Start your day with a soak in the freestanding bathtub before jumping in the sauna to refresh before setting out. There is off-road parking for two cars so you can all head out together or split into groups and head off on separate adventures.

A stunning cottage, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Loved the cottage, and great facilities - just as described. Ideally located for a stroll to the west facing beach where sunsets are beautiful. About an hours drive to the central lakes and lovely scenery along the way. The cottage is fitted to a high standard although some essentials were lacking or not supplied (toilet rolls/kitchen towels, washiRead moreng up liquid, bin bags etc) meaning a trip to the supermarket to replenish. Overall though, very happy with our staycation! Hide
