Lose yourself in rural splendour and treat your party of eight to a fantastic break in the Brecon Beacons, swapping the daily grind for spectacular scenery, delicious food and all the solitude you need to spend quality time together in this attractive property. Sennybridge is a short 3-mile drive away with its friendly pubs, the ultimate pit stop after an exhilarating trek through ancient forest. Waterfalls, mountains and heath-covered hills provide a natural playground for you to explore, and if you delve in even further, the market town of Brecon has a treasure trove of eateries, shops and attractions to peruse as well as the glorious Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

The house, reached via some steps down, is a juxtaposition of architect-designed style and original period features. It’s also full of hidden surprises including a glass-covered lobby, a cellar that doubles as a drying room and a bedroom that boasts a luxurious moon bath. Take your pick when it comes to relaxing, settling down in the snug on the colourful furniture and lighting the wood burner, or prepare a cocktail in your own personal bar area and unwind by the lounge open fire. Mealtimes are a glamorous affair thanks to the superb kitchen and dining space, plus the use of the utility room for the clean-up operation afterwards. Two staircases lead up to the four bedrooms, three of which are accessed via the glass bridge including a fabulous super-king-size room with exposed beams, a small balcony and the aforementioned moon bath for a spot of indulgence. There are three further bedrooms; two interconnected ones that are also reached via the same landing along with a bathroom that has a three-quarter-size dipping bath. Completing the property is a super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room. Head outside for a treat supper prepared in the pizza oven, sipping drinks while the children play on the lawn and watch the sheep and cattle in the neighbouring fields.

Lovely property in a fantastic rural setting. We had a great stay and I highly recommend giving the pizza oven a try..pizzas were amazing and great fun making then eating them. We enjoyed some amazing dog walks (direct from the house) and lots of fun things to do in the local area.
