IMPORTANT NOTICE - During the period of 22nd August 2020 to the 5th December 2020 this cottage will have a maximum occupancy of 10. The following bedrooms will be available - Ground floor bedroom (1) Double bed with ensuite shower room, 2nd floor family bedroom (2) Double bed and one single bed with ensuite shower room, family bedroom (3) Large double bed and one single bed with ensuite (bath with shower over), bedroom (4) Double bed with ensuite shower room. The cottage will be available in line with the current government restrictions on households. PLEASE NOTE - the swimming pool will NOT be available.
This huge Georgian house is an ideal venue for large family holidays and is just a short distance from Ilfracombe’s town centre and all its shops, pubs and restaurants. For swimmers and sun-seekers, the property features an outdoor heated swimming pool and Tunnels Beach is also a brief walk away, with other beaches such as Woolacombe accessible by a ten minute car journey. If you want to get out and about, the house is situated on the South West Coast Path and the Torrs Walk Trail, allowing guests to really explore the local area. There are also many nearby attractions that are ideal for a fun day out, including the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Arlington Court and Watermouth Castle.
Inside the property, guests will pass through the main door to be greeted by a large entrance hall and a sweeping staircase. Just off from the hallway there is a ground floor cloakroom with WC. The lounge features a bay window overlooking Ilfracombe and there is a doorway off to a smaller snug room. Guests will be entertained in the lounge by the TV and DVD player and heating is provided by an electric fire. The kitchen/diner is located on the lower ground floor and is equipped with a 5-ring gas hob, two electric fan ovens, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The utility room is fitted out with a washing machine, tumble dryer and chest freezer. The dining area has table seating for up to 19 people and there is a lounge with French door access to the patio and swimming pool. There are nine bedrooms in all, with six bedrooms featuring an en-suite shower or bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with a TV. There is one double bedroom located on the ground floor next to the hall with en-suite shower and WC. The first floor has three bedrooms including one double bedroom with an additional single bed, en-suite shower and WC. There is also one double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, as well as a king-size bedroom with an extra single-bed, en-suite shower over bath and WC. On the second floor there is one double bedroom with en-suite bath and WC, one double bedroom and one single bedroom. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite bath and WC that has a connecting door through to a bunk room that can be used as part of a family room or independently, thanks to its own entrance door. The property also benefits from an additional two shower rooms, which both also feature a WC. Finally, there is a games room with a pool table and table football.
Outside the house there is a patio with a BBQ and plenty of seating, and a heated swimming pool which is available to use between the 26th of May and the 22nd of September.
2 well-behaved dogs welcome (between 22nd September - 26th May only).
There are four off-road parking spaces. Free roadside parking is also available in front of the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
