Situated on Scotland’s remote and rugged west coast in Argyll and Bute, you are surrounded by picture-postcard scenery that will leave you speechless. The pretty Isle of Seil is the most northerly of a group of islands called the Slate Islands and is one of the few islands in Scotland where a ferry is not needed. With distinct north and south contrasts, Seil offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities for all abilities, with awe-inspiring viewpoints along the way. Oban (12 miles) is a seaside town whose name translates from Gaelic into ‘little bay’. Oban lies on the west coast of Scotland and is a popular destination offering beautiful panoramic views towards the offshore islands, all of which are accessible by boat from the town. Spend your days on the golden sandy beaches overlooked by the ruins of Dunollie Castle or browse the great selection of galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful house. Very clean and spacious with everything we needed. Special consideration for those with limited mobility with the inclusion of an electric riser chair and a seat in the downstairs ensuite shower. Driveway a bit steep but managed ok in a small electric buggy. House is set in a superb location. Walking distance to pub which serves faRead moreb food, near boat trips and plenty of walks to do from the doorstep. Hide

Clachan, near to the 'Atlantic Bridge' to the island of Seil and about 20 minutes' drive south from Oban, is a very comfortable and well-equipped house in a wonderful location in a beautiful part of Argyllshire. Ideal for families up to 8 people.

A beautiful and well equipped house just up the road from the "Atlantic Bridge". The main highlights for us were the very light and spacious lounge, comfortable beds and a huge bath. In a very quiet location, but a short drive for Oban. Highly recommended

Very nicely situated house with friendly, helpful hosts and good COVID-19 precautions in place. The house is very private, spacious and warm with nice views and a mature garden. It is reasonably well equipped. Overall feels a little dated but provides very comfortable holiday accommodation
