Large families and groups of up to ten people and two dogs will be spoilt for choice of where to relax with two reception rooms to choose from, and on lazy days you can take a dip in your private pool for the ultimate treat. Kirkby Lonsdale is 5.5 miles away with a whole treasure trove of independent shops, and for walkers, there are lots of trails to discover directly from your doorstep.

Whether you are weary from a day of adventures or keen to start the day with a spring in your step, your accommodation is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Gather everyone in the magnificent lounge with its large sofas, roaring open fire and hygge-esque appeal. It’s the perfect spot for swapping stories about your day, but the snug is equally as delightful with its TV and cosy seating. Transform local ingredients into glamorous meals in the country cottage-style kitchen, putting the traditional AGA and range of equipment to the test. You’ll find a pleasant breakfast room for light meals, and the formal dining room is dressed to impress with a fireplace and exposed beams. Upstairs, the five bedrooms await for a restful night’s sleep, one of which has its own en-suite for a bonus extra touch. The two family bathrooms will prove tempting for a pampering session, but due to the age of the property please be aware that there are sometimes water pressure problems. Outside, the grounds are yours to explore, and your private space has its own pool and a summerhouse. Ample off-road parking is available.
