Nestled on the Rame Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village has a small beach from which you can swim and is also ideal for walking and wildlife watching. Find it is also ideally situated for visits to nearby historic attractions and day trips into Plymouth, with its long, maritime history.

Let yourselves into this surprisingly spacious holiday home, via the hall and then the kitchen/diner. Find this beautifully finished room is the ideal place to prepare tasty meals for your party and for everyone to gather round the table to dine together in style. After each delicious meal, wander on through into the lounge to relax for a spell. Stroll less than 0.5 miles to Cawsand, where you can spend time on the beach and catch the ferry over to the Barbican landing point in Plymouth. This historic area, with its cobbled streets, narrow lanes and listed buildings, is also known for its art galleries and restaurants. From here, also head to the National Marine Aquarium and see the Mayflower Steps, from where the pilgrims are set to have set sail for America in 1620. Head 3 miles along the coast from Kingsand to spend an afternoon at impressive Mount Edgcumbe, where you can explore the parkland estate and visit the stately home.
