Situated on the edge of the small village of Ashbrittle, along narrow country lanes, this stunning farmhouse offers a superb spot for friends and families to enjoy time together. It's just a few miles from the small market town of Wellington, ideal for stocking up on provisions for your stay. Further retail facilities can be discovered at Taunton, which is just 14 miles away. and the property is also just a short drive from the M5 allowing you to explore further afield. Walkers will be spoilt for choice as the local area encompasses the Blackdown Hills, Quantocks and Exmoor, each displaying a unique selection of flora and fauna.

Entering this large farmhouse, you are immediately struck by the quality of the workmanship and overall styling, and this high-end finish can be found throughout the property. First is a lobby/utility room with room for boots and coats, and fitted with a washing machine, tumble dryer and Belfast sink.  Moving on, you will find a ground-floor bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request), Smart TV and en-suite shower room and WC. Also on this floor is a handy separate WC and freezer and 2nd fridge.  Here is one of two staircases leading up to the first floor to the second bedroom: a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Back down to the ground floor, a formal dining room with wood burner offers guests a great place to celebrate, with large table and seats for everyone. The lounge has another wood burner and provides a Smart TV/DVD and comfy sofas as well as books and games. The kitchen is impressive with stylish units and quality work surfaces, fully equipped with two electric ovens and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A breakfast bar and stools allow for a less formal eating space. Heading up to the first floor from the 2nd staircase, you will find a further three bedrooms with Smart TV's: two king-size bedrooms - one with an en-suite shower room and WC and one with an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Also on this floor is the stunning master super-king-size bedroom with exposed beams and vaulted ceiling fabulous countryside views, a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room and WC.

Stepping outside, the enclosed garden has a patio area with garden furniture and lawn area and the paddock is great for playing ball games. After a day exploring, why not come back and soak in your own private hot tub?

For a truly memorable experience, book seats on one of the last remaining horse-drawn barges in the UK and enjoy a timeless trip along the water. Explore the vibrant city of Exeter (28 miles) and stop in one of the delicatessens to pick up some local produce for a picnic at Cathedral Green. The location is down windy narrow lanes, many are just one car wide, so be prepared for that, and due to Covid the most local pub was closed, but if you are looking for a country retreat and time together as a family, the farmhouse is perfect. Go to the supermarkets in Tiverton or Wellington; fill the fridge and freezer on your first day and just uRead morenwind. It is an absolutely stunning property and one of the best we have ever stayed in. Hide

The house and the views are stunning. You wont be disappointed at all. The owners are amazing couldnt do more for you. We turned up slightly under prepared having brought no tea coffee or milk. Annie and Brian were happy to give us this which was great after a long trip down. The house and the garden were safe for our kids and dog. With plenty of cRead moreomfortable seating inside and out. We had a lovely family holiday here. Burrow Farm is well set out for large families, extremely comfortable, dog and child friendly. We loved the hot tub and meals together round the giant table. Day trips to the beach and Exmoor are easy and local towns handy for shopping.
