One of three properties in this exclusive complex, this delightful barn conversion is situated on the fringes of the peaceful village of Chelmorton. Sleeping ten guests across five bedrooms, this is the perfect base for large families and groups of friends seeking to enjoy the activities and experiences of the Peak District. Pull on your wellies for long countryside walks straight from the front door or follow a trail from the village across the timeless landscape. Stroll to the village inn for some light refreshments or a sociable meal. Further afield, discover the historic spa town of Buxton, find out the secrets of its famous waters at The Pump Room and taste it yourself directly from St Anne's Well.

Greet your guests in the spacious entrance hall with plenty of room to hang up coats and leave muddy boots. The sociable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a bright and welcoming space for conversation and relaxation. There's everything you need for a comfortable stay in the well-equipped kitchen to prepare celebratory dinners or relaxed suppers. A pretty downstairs double bedroom benefits from a large en-suite with shower and separate bath, ideal for guests who find stairs a struggle. Upstairs you will find two generous double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a further two twin bedrooms that share a bathroom. All the bedrooms are decorated in soothing tones with a light and airy feel. Outside is a sunny courtyard with ample seating for al fresco dining or BBQs. There's plenty of space in the adjacent field for games, races or simply for younger guests to burn off their last remaining energy.

This was the perfect place to spend our family Christmas. A lovely large living space downstairs and spacious en-suite bedrooms. Close to both Buxton and Bakewell for shopping and beautiful countryside for walks.

The cottage is beautiful and spacious. There's no garden though and where the picnic bench and outside seating area is there's people walking by all the time to the camping facilities, so it's not private at all.

A well appointed, spacious barn conversion which was perfect for our family celebration. The property was very clean and the beds comfortable so we all slept well. We are fortunate to have good weather and enjoyed exploring the area. The only drawback is the outside area which is rather public with people from the caravan site walking past on theirRead more way to the toilet block. Hide

Great holiday at a very spacious and well equipped accommodation with ample parking. If Im being picky a couple more rolls of toilet paper would be useful. But I would very much recommend this place.

Amazing cottage in a great location with many Peak District attractions within a short drive. Great to have seating and dining space exceeding max guest numbers. Kitchen equipped with plenty of utensils and for a rental first for me the knives were sharp. Overall and excellent stay

Lovely spacious cottage in a excellent location to visit attractions and villages in Peak District. Large bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and clean. Kitchen/dining/lounge area very comfortable and spacious but could have been cleaner. No garden for children to play in. We would certainly consider staying there again.
