Situated in the heart of the beautiful Eden Valley, from this charming bungalow you can discover a variety of high street and independent shops, little eateries and restaurants 5 miles away in Penrith.

Whisk your family or friends away to the Eden Valley in Cumbria and treat them to a stay in Langwathby, between the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Lake District. Being just 5 miles from the Penrith, this four-bedroom holiday sleeps up to eight guests, plus three very happy hounds, and is in a good location for reaching shops and stalls selling local Cumbrian produce, as well as an array of eateries for dining out. Set off on valley walks, organise group trips to lakes and other beauty spots, then return to the single-storey property to relax by a crackling wood burner or bask out in the sunshine in the large garden.

Wander into this inviting holiday home, following the hall down into the kitchen. Find all the space and equipment you need in here to set to and prepare delicious holiday dishes with produce you have bought for your friends and family. Pop dinner in to roast, pour yourself a glass of wine and head through to the lounge/diner to join the rest of your party. Lay the table then relax for a while, enjoying the green vistas through expansive windows. Pull open the doors on to the garden on summer afternoons or watch the Smart TV together in the evening. Alternatively, wander through to the snug to stoke the wood burner and listen to music on the Bluetooth soundbar. At the end of each fantastic day spent together, head off to one of the inviting bedrooms. Choose between two twin rooms, a super-king-size and a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room. Have a long, hot bubble bath before bed. Awake to scenic views and decide whether to have breakfast out on the south-facing patio. Watch the children play on the lawn, while you soak up the tranquillity of the setting. Find you can store your bicycles at this property and there is parking for up to four cars.

What an amazing place this is. Perfect for a family get away. The house is well proportioned with a great snug to relax in with the log burner. Locally the shop is so convenient as is the pub. A little further afield The Village Bakery in Melmerby and The Black Swqn Culgaith are just visits as the food is excellent. We cannot wait to revisit!

We had a lovely stay in this cottage with a large garden in a beautiful village. The pub and local shop are just a few minutes walk away, and the house is close enough to Penrith that great hikes and walks are within a short drive. We had a really nice time here.

Bins in bedrooms would be helpful. And mirror in second twin room. There was no salt and pepper which would have been helpful. The water in the ensuite shower was dangerously hot and it was not possible to turn it down. Some coat hooks in the hallway would be an improvement.
