Spectacularly stylish, this room boasts fabulous views across Broadsands to Torbay’s coastline, as well as a chic contemporary wood burner to enjoy on cosy nights-in. Cook up a storm for your party in the well-equipped kitchen/diner or head out the patio doors to the garden to strike up the BBQ for al fresco dining. Everyone in your party will enjoy a stroll – or paddle – at Broadsands Beach (0.5 miles). This beautiful bay is the perfect spot for sandcastle-building, and when the kids get sick of that, there’s a large area of parkland directly behind the beach where they can kick around a football. For unforgettable vistas, head to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (4.5 miles), a stunning headland with an iconic lighthouse and Napoleonic Fort that offers exceptional views across Torbay and beyond. There are more than 170 acres of beautiful diverse habitat to explore there. The history buffs in your party should grab the opportunity to visit the Golden Hind Museum Ship (4.5 miles), Sir Francis Drake’s ship. They’ll also love Battery Gardens Museum (4.5 miles), which sits in an area that has been used by the military as far back as the 1780s. The area was used as a World War II Coastal Defence Battery, when some 250 soldiers were based there. Many of the structures and emplacements from that period are still in existence.

We spent a lovely week in this house near the sea. The views were amazing and we were very lucky with the weather and able to sit in nice garden. Lots of stairs but worth the climb.

Really nice stay, comfy beds and lovely well equipped kitchen. Shame we didnt get the weather but you cant book that online. On maps it looks like the property is a little far out of everything but its actually perfect for walking to little cove and broadsands. Torquay is quick drive as is Brixham. Fantastic view of bay from lounge. Felt very Covid safe, kitchen equipment was highlighted as Covid clean. Very child friendly with stair gate, travel cot available even though there were lots of steps. Good size bedrooms & bathrooms.

Despite the shortcomings mentioned, this house was fantastic. We did have a brilliant time, the ever changing views of the bays were amazing and the house was spacious and very comfortable, we loved hearing the steam train throughout the day - we did love it here.

Very clean and tidy with plenty of hand sanitizer available. If its sea views you want this cottage has it in shed loads. Easy to just look out across the bay and watch the world go by from inside the cottage. Kitchen fitted to a very high spec.
