The lounge has lots of comfy seating and a wood burner, making it cosy on a cold evening. Ascending the oak staircase, you will arrive at the four bedrooms: three king-size and one double, all with en-suite shower rooms and Smart TVs. Absolutely beautiful house and setting. Very well equipped and the hot tub was fabulous. The house is decorated to a very high spec and the kitchen in particular is very well done. As 4 tired mum's, we particularly enjoyed how quiet the stairs are and the doors too (very strange I know). The host was excellent throughout, good communication but notRead more intrusive throughout our stay. We enjoyed it so much, we're making it an annual vacation. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Blinkers Stables. This is luxury accommodation in a wonderful setting with super hosts. Lots of things to do and see in the immediate area. If you enjoy castles and want to learn about Hadrians Wall, join English Heritage before you come. Lots of great walks for all abilities and good food in local pubs.

We had a fabulous holiday in Blinkers Stables. Wonderful accommodation which has been beautifully restored retaining a lot of original unique features. The log burner and hot tub were fantastic and there was also an unusual addition of a telescope to look at the stars as the cottage is in a 'dark sky' area.
