Head out mountain-biking, hill-walking or fishing, take a tour of a local distillery or drive out to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs (20 miles away) for a magical day trip. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both approximately 30 miles from the property if the metropolitan buzz is more your thing. If you'd prefer to stay closer to base, all of the amenities you'll need for a relaxing stay can be found in Dunblane (3.5 miles away) including an array of supermarkets, eateries and shops.
Inside, wooden furniture, patterned drapes, and rich colourful rugs give the house a warm and welcoming feel with a twist of elegance and sophistication. Enter on the ground floor and make your way into the well-equipped kitchen, complete with an Aga, induction hob, double electric oven and two dishwashers, making cooking here a breeze. Seating at the large island as well as a kitchen table makes it a comfortable space in which to socialise and spend time with one another while meals are prepared. Take your feast through to the cosy dining room where an open fire will keep you toasty while you eat. When tummies are full and the plates cleared away, it will be time to gather in the west-facing conservatory to watch the sunset with a nightcap. There are spectacular views over the hills to be enjoyed from here, as well as from the first-floor drawing room, a well-lit and inviting room with a wood burner. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spread over all three floors of the property; there is a bathroom and a super king-size room on the ground floor, while on the first floor you'll find another super-king, a king-size, a family bathroom and the master bedroom. The master is super king-size and boasts its own dressing room and en-suite bathroom. Up on the second floor, there is a double, a twin and a single room that share use of another family bathroom. Please note that the downstairs super-king and master bedrooms can be made up as twin rooms by prior arrangement. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated with traditional soft furnishings and thoughtful touches.
Outside, light up the BBQ for an al fresco feast and enjoy evenings gathered under the stars in your spacious private garden. Garden furniture is provided, or take a rug down onto the lawn for sunny picnics while the children play among the trees. Dogs will adore the space to run around too.
