Our second visit to Black Lake Cottage. We love the quirkiness and character of the property as much as the remoteness and the beauty of the location. We found this to be a spacious cottage. which was well equipped. The location really suited us - we could walk from the house or explore the local area. It is situated by itself and so wouldn't suit someone who prefers being able to walk to the shops or a pub. We loved it and would return.

Delightful cottage in idyllic location with stunning views. We enjoyed the 3 different sitting areas depending on the time of day and the hot tub was fantastic. A comfortable, tranquil, secluded haven. We loved how remote it was and that you could explore the mountain side and not see anyone apart from sheep, whilst a few miles away Snowdonia was heaving. Go if you want isolation. Not so great if you like to pop out to the shop or don't like driving on narrow roads.
