This property is situated some 3.5 miles to the east of Eastbourne town centre, and just a few hundred yards from the town’s bustling marina. The marina is not only a pleasurable place to walk around looking at the yachts, but is also home to a number of restaurants and bars, as well as a multiplex cinema. The beach is just moments from the property’s front door, and is generally much quieter than the towns’ main beach. 2.5 miles north of the property, the historic village of Pevensey makes for an interesting place to spend the day with its imposing ruined castle, whose history dates back to the Roman era.
On arrival at this property, guests have a choice of two separate lounges in which to relax after their journey. The first of these is a spacious lounge/diner which boasts plenty of comfortable seating with a large corner unit and sofa, a TV, and a large refectory-style dining table which is perfect for family dining. There is a second lounge which offers another TV and DVD player, and patio doors which lead out to the back garden. The spacious kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas hob, microwave, coffee machine, American-style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, dishwasher, and washing machine, and door to the garden. One of the property’s bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, a king-size room which is perfect for guests who may find struggle with the stairs, as there is also a ground-floor bathroom with a bath, separate shower, and WC just across the hall. Upstairs there are four further bedrooms, the first of which is the super-king-size master bedroom which benefits from its own decked balcony with a table and chairs from which guests can enjoy views over the garden. A third king-size bedroom is a spacious room with a sofa providing an extra space for relaxing and offering sea glimpses from the bedroom’s windows. Finally, there are two pleasant twin rooms, one which overlooks the garden, and the other looking towards the front of the property and beyond to the sea. The main bathroom on this floor has a bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC.
Outside, the property, there is a modest-sized garden to the front of the property, as well as a large rear garden with a patio and lawned area with garden furniture which is a wonderfully sunny space in which to relax, play, and enjoy al fresco drinks. There is off-road parking for two to three cars at the front of the house.
