This vast and splendid property is large enough to fit up to twenty people in its ten bedrooms, plus ten bathrooms. It is the ideal place for a big reunion or get-together of family and friends. It has lots of character with plenty of finishing touches and original features throughout. It will undoubtedly be the backdrop for a memorable holiday.

Enter the property into a large hallway and step through into the TV and games room with a selection of boardgames. From here, head into the main lounge, which has its own bar area with fridge and bar stools. It’s a fantastic, characterful room thanks to exposed stone walls, while the inviting sofas help everyone relax. The room opens out onto a balcony where you can admire the stunning views. In the kitchen and diner, you’ll find everything you should want to prepare feasts for your entire group, including a walk-in pantry. It also benefits from a set of patio doors out into the courtyard. The kitchen diner can host relaxed meals at the big table with bench seats, warmed by the wood burner in the Inglenook fireplace. However, there is also a separate dining room - perfect for celebratory meals with space for up to 26 guests. This floor is also home to two separate WCs as well as five en-suite bedrooms. One is a family bedroom, accommodating four people, with a king-size bed and a paddle staircase leading to a mezzanine area with twin beds. Then, there’s a king-size bedroom, two twins and a single (one of the twin rooms has a step up to the en-suite). On the first floor are two more bedrooms - a single and a king-size, both with en-suites too. These rooms have a couple of steps up to a balcony with valley views. The final three en-suite bedrooms are through the courtyard and up an external open-tread staircase: a twin and a king-size with balcony access, and a further twin. Outside, in addition to the many balconies, the garden has a big table for dining when the weather allows, plus the courtyard also has seating.

This is a great place to stay if you appreciate peace, quiet and seclusion and good quality accommodation. The bedrooms are excellent with en-suite facilities and (with one exception) provided excellent warm showers. The lounge facilies are reminiscent of a small good quality officers mess and the kitchen well equipped for catering up to 20 people.Read more There is an attractive courtyard and plenty of places to sit and relax. The dining hall is like something out of a Harry Potter film! Outstanding! Hide

Perfect for groups and families who like their own space to relax or party. Ensure you take everything you need as shops in the village are small and not well stocked, not open on Bank holidays. If it is important to you recycling rubbish is not available so we brought our tins, bottles & cardboard home for recycling.
