There is a small community shop within walking distance and a dated park for children. There is an old pub about 15 minute drive. Access roads to Burrington are windy, country roads that are not suitable for unconfident drivers. Closest beach is 40 mins away. The house is nice inside, but could do with an update, it lacked utensils and sharp knivesRead more. The farms working dogs barked up until 8pm some nights. Hide

We found Barton Courts barn conversion perfect for our family holiday stay in North Devon, a very quiet location in beautiful country side with a back ground chorus of the farm animals and birds, brilliant safe garden for our little dog too.

The barn is in a beautiful spot, is lovely and open plan and perfect for two toddlers - lovely to have stairgates already in place and a lovely Wendy house and garden toys to play with. Felt very safe and comfortable. From the garden you can see the lovely views, sheep, horses and general farm activity and the owners were kind enough to let us watcRead moreh the sheep shearing and wander around the farm. Main tourist attractions are a good 40 minute drive away but suited us. Hide

Amazing place, will go again next year! Went with four adults and four kids. This cottage is superb, has four spacious bedrooms upstairs and three bathrooms along with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The owners are fantastic and very helpful, we got to feed the lambs which the kids loved. There are also horses and the sheep dogs, as well as guinRead moreea pigs. Hide

Eight of us stayed at the property including a 2yr & 8yr old, plus two dogs. The cottage is lovely and spacious, and all the rooms are a good size. Three bathrooms is really useful, and the garden is enclosed. We all enjoyed our holiday and would certainly recommend the cottage.
