We were three couples and four babies/toddlers and all had a great time! The house was very child and dog friendly. Stair gates, a high chair and travel cot and a toy tractor/kitchen in the garden! The garden was very child and dog safe and perfect for the sunny weather. The hosts were very helpful! They even put our online shop away for us when weRead more were running late! Bathrooms/kitchens very clean and well equipped and everything was covid secure! Wed definitely stay again. Beautiful area! Hide

The cottage ticked all the boxes. Large rooms, great open plan downstairs, big kitchen & dining table, 2 shower rooms and 1 bathroom. The garden was great for our child and for eating outside & BBQs. The village shop has the essentials and a good playground is a 2 min walk. The house is well insulated - we couldnt even hear the church bells next doRead moreor. *Some* roads in are narrow and not for the faint hearted! Hope to return when the farm is accessible to walk around. Farm produce was a bonus. Hide

There is a small community shop within walking distance and a dated park for children. There is an old pub about 15 minute drive. Access roads to Burrington are windy, country roads that are not suitable for unconfident drivers. Closest beach is 40 mins away. The house is nice inside, but could do with an update, it lacked utensils and sharp knivesRead more. The farms working dogs barked up until 8pm some nights. Hide

We found Barton Courts barn conversion perfect for our family holiday stay in North Devon, a very quiet location in beautiful country side with a back ground chorus of the farm animals and birds, brilliant safe garden for our little dog too.
