An idyllic coastal home perfectly located to make the most of the far reaching views over Bideford Bay, the Bristol Channel and towards Lundy Island. A short walk takes you to the vibrant seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its long stretch of sandy beach and unique pebble ridge. Within a short drive there is much more to see and do in the area with a host of family attractions nearby which include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way or you can spend a day cycling on the famous Tarka Trail.

Entering the property on the ground floor, the hallways takes you to the lounge which features a TV with Sky TV and comfortable seating, leading from the lounge you have the conservatory with sea views and seating. Opposite the lounge you will find the open-plan kitchen/diner, the well-equipped kitchen area with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and small fridge also boasting a sea view and doors out onto the patio and dining area with seating. There is also a handy utility room which has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. On the ground floor you will find the first two of the bedrooms, a super-king-size with TV and en-suite shower room and WC and a twin bedroom. There is also a separate WC on this floor. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will come across the remaining three bedrooms, one double with TV and en-suite shower room and WC and far reaching sea views, one twin with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and the spacious super-king-size bedroom with TV, seating area and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside from the kitchen onto the patio area with rattan dining table and chairs where you can spend your evenings relaxing. The enclosed garden also boasts a generous lawn, perfect for the kids and the dog too. Off-road parking for three cars.

Tee off at the Royal North Devon golf club (1 mile), though look out for the sheep and ponies that freely stroll across the fairways! For family-friendly fun with children, visit The Big Sheep (3 miles) or The Milky Way (10.5 miles). Venture towards Appledore (2.5 miles) where you can try fishing, or hop on the summer ferry here to the shores of Instow (5.5 miles) where your whole gang can embark on the Tarka Trail - an old railway track converted to a largely traffic-free walk and bike trail. Find garden inspiration at Hartland Abbey and Gardens (16.5 miles) or sustainability at Tapeley Park (5 miles). Take to the waves and perfect your skills with the North Devon Surf School (0.5 miles), walk a section of the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles), or dare to try coasteering at the Ultimate Adventure Centre (3 miles). Shop in the historic market towns of Bideford (2.5 miles) and Barnstaple (12 miles), or potter around the cobbled main street in the quaint fishing village of Clovelly (12.5 miles).

We had a wonderful week at Atlantic House, it was a real home from home. Fabulous sea views from nearly all of the rooms and lots of little extras that the owner has thought of to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Highly recommended!
