Situated on the edge of a popular nature reserve, this spacious property is full of character and makes a lovely holiday home for a family or group keen to explore the countryside near Poole Harbour.

This stunning and unusual property might be the roomiest “studio” you've ever encountered. Situated in a gorgeous, secluded location, surrounded by nature, it's the perfect place to choose if you're looking for an active holiday, perhaps with a group of nature-loving buddies and their little ones.

Arrive at the cottage, situated on the edge of RSPB Arne. The property used to be a working pottery studio and retains an artisan atmosphere. Head into the peaceful heart of the house where you'll find the first lounge - a cosy, sumptuous room with high ceilings and artistic touches. This is where you'll unwind and share those deep and meaningful holiday conversations. Or go through to the lovely kitchen and dining space - homely and rustic, with country-style units and mismatching chairs. The second lounge is a more restful affair beneath the galleried landing, with a writing desk and TV so you can get a little work done or relax depending on your mood. Along the hall are the house's bedrooms: a twin and a bunk room, for those wanting a little slumber party atmosphere, then from these rooms, two staircases lead to further charming bedrooms - two triples perfect for small families to stay together, and a double which can be made into a twin. The space outside is inviting and will begin your foray into the landscape. Behind the house is a gravelled seating area beside a raised bank, where dogs or energetic guests can stretch their legs.

A beautiful home in a truly stunning location. We stayed for 2 nights and loved the home. It has lots of wonderful areas to share time together, a picturesque lawn that is perfect for dining outdoors (and croquet!), and very comfortable beds. But the real highlight was the location with a short walk to views of wild heathland and a charming beach. Read moreA hugely relaxing and restorative stay, would recommend to all. Hide

A lovely house, more a home than a rental. Ideal for larger groups, in a beautiful quiet location next to the RSPB reserve.

We had a lovely stay at this delightful house. There was plenty of accommodation and having the two living rooms and large well equipped kitchen was great. The decor may be considered by some as dated, but is in keeping with the era of the house and is perfectly good. The living room was stocked with plenty of games which we played. There were alsoRead more lots of games for outside playing and we got out in the spacious garden. Dogs must be kept on leads locally, but plenty to see and do. Hide

Would highly recommend this property - we went away with 9 adults and 2 dogs and it was the perfect set up. Great location for walks, a lovely garden (which we thankfully got to use as the weather was glorious), a great kitchen space and a very comfy lounge. A highlight of the weekend was the croquet - we had so much fun!

Amazing location right in the RSPB Arne reserve. Lovely evening walks seeing the deer and birdwatching. So peaceful. Wareham is a lovely town- recommend the Saturday market in the quay, the craft collective and the amazing hardware shop/ ironmongers! Do go to 29029 Indian and Nepalese restaurant just outside Wareham - fantastic food.
