Enjoy a memorable seaside getaway with your nearest and dearest in this spectacular coastal property, just 100 metres from Amble’s bustling harbour. The cottage sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms and has numerous social spaces, including a large kitchen/diner and outdoor seating. Head to the harbour to dine in one of the fantastic seafood restaurants, or spend quality time together out on the water, in a sailing boat or perhaps a kayak. Pack a picnic and spend the day at the beach at Druridge Bay, where you’ll find 3 miles of glorious golden sand, or brush up on your history on a family day out to Alnwick Castle (9.5 miles).

The warm and inviting property is full of little nods to the seaside, with a blue decor running throughout, plus quirky seafaring accessories and nautical artwork and soft furnishings. At the end of an action-packed day, sink into the plump sofas in the first-floor lounge and admire the glorious sea views. This beautiful space features oak flooring and a roaring wood burner – it’s the perfect, cosy spot for long, lazy evenings catching up with friends over a glass of wine or two. The stylish kitchen/diner was designed with entertaining in mind; come together around the large dining table for evenings of laughter and great food or gather in this spacious area to plan your day’s itinerary over breakfast. The property has one bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms, so you don’t need to worry about there being a long queue to get ready in the morning. Outside, discover a charming, enclosed garden. The gravel area gets the sun all afternoon, so you can all sit around the large outdoor table to enjoy an al fresco lunch in the sunshine. There is ample parking available, with roadside parking in front of the property and additional free parking nearby.

Amble Staithes is a beautifully presented and well-equipped home from home - comfortable and stylish.
