This superb hideaway sits at the northern end of Windermere, just 200 metres from the Waterhead Pier, where you can join a steamboat to travel the length of the lake, calling in at Brockhole, Bowness and Lakeside. The lively town of Ambleside is just a mile away, with a wealth of great places to eat and drink as well as attractions including The Bridge House, Ambleside Roman Fort, and Stock Ghyll Force. Other local places of interest include Stagshaw Gardens, Townend, Holehird Gardens, and Rydal Mount and Gardens (all within 3 miles). Both Rydal Water and Grasmere are within 4.5 miles to the north.

The modest front entrance of this superb property features plenty of space for leaving outdoor gear, with a generous bathroom to one side. Stepping through, the spacious and light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a fabulous space for you all to unwind in. The elegantly arranged kitchen has ample equipment and a sleek central island, alongside a charming dining table perfect for a family celebration.
