Perched at the top of a steep drive in a quiet, elevated position above Keswick, embracing some outstanding panoramic views, this is the ultimate Lakeland escape for a memory-making break with family and friends. Downhill from the doorstep brings you to the market town of Keswick, one of the Lake District's most picturesque locations, surrounded by dramatic scenery that'll inspire you to get out and explore. Located on the shores of Derwentwater (3 miles), the scenic, circular lake walk features 10 miles of wonderful scenery around a waymarked route, perfect for keen outdoor explorers and nature lovers alike. Fell walkers and mountain bikers can enjoy the northern fells, which offer some of the most famous Lake District Peaks for all ages and abilities to conquer. The picturesque Lake Windermere, 24 miles away, offers scenic boat trips, waterside walks, and water sports opportunities.

Set across three floors, this beautiful townhouse has been designed to make the most of the fantastic views of Derwentwater and the Northern Fells. Follow the warmth of the electric fire into the spacious yet cosy lounge, which boasts two sets of patio doors that frame outstanding views. On a fine evening, throw open the patio doors to soak up your stunning scenery and make the most of indoor/outdoor living. The twin bedroom on the ground floor offers a peaceful haven to retire to. The light and bright open-plan kitchen/diner boasts cool grey units and white granite worktops, equipped with everything you'll need to rustle up a hearty dinner or perfect picnic. A formal dining area adjoining the kitchen/diner offers even more room for the whole party to gather. There are three bedrooms on the first floor, one king-size, one twin and one en-suite king-size featuring a Juliet balcony with panoramic views to wake up to. A contemporary shower room completes this homely hideaway.

Accessed directly from the dining and living areas, the lovely front terrace is the perfect place to sit back and relax at the end of a busy day walking the fells. The rear garden offers a peaceful spot to enjoy entertaining and al fresco dining, with the double garage providing plenty of bike and outdoor equipment storage. There is private parking for four cars. Please note that the driveaway is very steep and has a small turning circle.

Skiddaw Heights was just perfect for our first family holiday with our 1 year old grandchild. It had everything we needed. Cot, high chair, and very importantly, stair gates. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped for us to cook every night while the baby slept. We would return in a heartbeat.

Me and my husband both said that we would happily use your cottage in the future as it was so well equipped, really clean, and just full of all the practical stuff that many other cottages don't provide! We are more than happy to buy dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc... But oh my goodness does it make it easier to have all that ready for yoRead moreu when you arrive rather than having to rush around getting stuff in a supermarket knowing you are only going to use a weeks worth and having to bring it all back home with you! The appliances were good quality, and easy to use, the cleanliness was perfect, I actually can't think of a single improvement, which is a huge credit to your company! I actually found you on Airbnb, and then googled your company and I'm so glad I did, as we love the late district, and would 100% use your company again when making future bookings! You were also really responsive I just can't fault you! You were fantastic. Thank you for being so fantastic and giving us many happy memories of such a lovely holiday... You even provided Sunshine for the week! Hide
