Escape to this charming countryside retreat, nestled within a working farm in North Dorset and perfectly situated for exploring, or simply getting away from it all. The picturesque Blackmore Vale serves as an excellent base for walkers and cyclists. You can find essential provisions in the nearby village of Hazelbury Bryan (2.5 miles), boasting a shop and pub, or within 6 miles are the riverside towns of Blandford and Sturminster Newton, which offer a wider range of amenities. History enthusiasts will relish visits to Milton Abbas and Cerne Abbas, home to the famous chalk giant carved into the hillside, or head to the magnificent Jurassic Coastline, with popular spots like Lulworth Cove, Abbotsbury, and Ringstead Bay all within 20 miles.

Great stay for dads 70th Birthday with family. Beautiful remote and rural location. Super peaceful. Absolutely loved it. We will book again.

A well equipped, comfortable property with lovely outdoor space, all set in a beautiful location. Easy check in process and thoughtful welcome gifts. A lovely place to relax.

The roads to and from the property were single track with limited visibility. This made driving difficult down them especially with oncoming tractors, vans etc. However, we did enjoy our stay and the homemade cake that was left for us was delicious.

Fantastic cottage in the middel of nowhere Dorset. Relatively close to towns and cities, interesting sites, and to the Jurassic Coast (Lulworth Cove, Durdle Dore). Really good beds, bath/shower facilities. Well equiped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
