Located close to the Water of Girvan as it flows through the estate, the cottage is a wonderful holiday home for larger families searching for an idyllic rural hideaway, and a fabulous base for groups of friends discovering a beautiful corner of Scotland. With stylish and spacious accommodation for up to eight guests, this detached stone-built property has been designed and furnished by Royal Warrant holder Mikhail Pietranek. Featuring a welcoming wood burner, elegant four-poster beds and a large garden with access to a river known for its Atlantic salmon, this handsome cottage is perfect for keen anglers – ghillies can be arranged at the property. The thriving harbour town of Girvan is just a few miles away, and the property is perfect for exploring the stunning Ayrshire countryside, with a famous golf course and the breathtaking Galloway Forest Park nearby.

The light and airy lounge is a great space for everyone to get together in front of the wood burner and watch a favourite movie on the Smart TV. At mealtimes, the formal dining room has a sociable central table offering an impressive backdrop to a celebratory occasion. The kitchen next door has plenty of space and a wide range of equipment, perfect for whipping up a feast. Exploring further, the ground floor features the first of the property’s four bright and tasteful bedrooms: a cheery king-size room, alongside a charming bathroom. Upstairs, you will find the three remaining bedrooms, with atmospheric Scottish-themed decor: a pretty twin room and two stunning king-size rooms with magnificent four-poster beds. There’s also a stylish family bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate walk-in shower. Heading outside, the large private garden features a lawn, patio and outdoor furniture, making a delightful spot for a morning coffee. The river is easily accessible from the garden - care should be taken with children.
