Live the fairytale dream with a stay in this spectacular stone castle set on 143 acres of private estate land. Sleeping up to 18 people over ten unique bedrooms, spend your days exploring the castle, roaming the sprawling estate and enjoying quality time with friends or family in this unbelievable setting for a group gathering.

Step inside the castle walls and be instantly transported back in time, where lovingly preserved original features and wonderful period decor sit alongside modern creature comforts. Head up the stone staircase past the resident knight to the first floor, where you will find the heart of the castle – the Great Hall – with wood-panelled walls, antique furniture, artwork adorning the walls, and an impressive chandelier hanging from a stunning mural ceiling. From here, discover the service staircase and the secret staircase leading you to one of the master bedrooms above and access to the snug. Climb three stone steps from the Great Hall to the Dining Hall, a magnificent room exquisitely decorated with a trompe d’oeil effect ceiling and a banquet-worthy dining table at the centre of the room laid with antique silverware. The bespoke kitchen lies next to the Great Hall with plenty of space to whip up meals for many mouths and features a huge island with a granite worktop and an unusual antler chandelier. The bedrooms in the castle are indeed fit for a king or queen, and down the hallway from the kitchen you will find two more of them which share a bathroom. The informal TV lounge offers a great space to play a group game or relax with a good book. Alternatively, host a movie night in the cinema room with its comfortable seating and impressive sound system. Head up the spiral staircase to take your pick of the remaining bedrooms, and sleep like royalty in plush beds topped with soft white linens. At the end of the day, make your way up the narrow turret staircase to the deck at the top of the castle, where you can take in fabulous views across the estate and surrounding countryside accompanied by a sundowner or two. Outside, the estate's grounds are yours to explore, and with expansive lawns, ancient woodland, wild river banks and working farmland all on site – there's a lot to be discovered.
