The traditional Victorian seaside town of Swanage is known for its beautiful sandy beach, promenade and pier, whilst guests can also take their pick from a fabulous range of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. The gently sloping golden sand and clear water are just some of the great reasons Swanage Beach holds a Blue Flag Award. Seasonal lifeguards are situated within the bathing zone, which is a safe location for your family to swim. Take a group stroll along the promenade or paddle in the water, collecting sea shells and building sandcastles there. No matter how varied the make-up of your party is, there is sure to be something in Swanage to please everyone. Catch the picture postcard railway where steam trains run through the beautiful Purbeck countryside and past Corfe Castle to the beach, or sample the local fare in top-quality bistros, sea view restaurants, traditional pubs and tearooms. You could enjoy the town’s fantastic range of festivals throughout the year, including Blues and Folk, and no visit to Swanage is complete without fossil hunting along a stretch of the Jurassic Coast, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

A lovely place to stay, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Parking could be a problem as is it on the roadside on a first come first served basis but we only had a problem once.

An excellent house for 6 adults and two young childrenwell equipped, comfortable accommodation, good garden, reasonably close to the town and beach, the only downside was no dedicated parking but we always found spaces close by.

My family and I really enjoyed our two weeks in this lovely comfortable, clean and homely property. The owners were very helpful if we had any problems.
