A stone’s throw from the beach is this perfectly positioned Victorian house with a garden and off-road parking. Gather your family and friends for a wonderful Yorkshire coast getaway.

Only 5 miles from the North York Moors National Park, this characterful six-bedroom townhouse offers 12 guests a fantastic base for a memorable stay in an area surrounded by a plethora of natural and historic attractions. Water sports lovers, foodies and art lovers will find so much to occupy their time as they explore Saltburn’s vibrant streets, littered with 19th-century architecture, while nearby wooded and moorland trails will be a huge draw for walkers and mountain bikers. Boasting phenomenal sea views and with original features throughout, this townhouse offers open-plan living areas, a games room, a state-of-the-art kitchen and an intimate enclosed garden with outdoor cinema.

Each room in the three-storey townhouse has a fresh and vibrant feel, complemented by high ceilings, offering a real sense of space. The kitchen/diner off the ground-floor hallway runs the length of the house, an area perfect for lazy breakfasts, long lunches and riotous dinner parties, with substantial dishes created using modern conveniences, alongside a handy utility room close by for routine chores. Across the hallway, an inviting lounge with plump sofas and bi-fold doors leading to the garden, is a cosy place for some quiet time when others are out and about; it will be the focal point for games, TV marathons or catching up when the children are in bed. There are three bedrooms on the first floor: a twin bedroom and a king-size bedroom, both with sinks; and a sizable super-king-size bedroom offering a large bay window with views out to sea. The three bedrooms sit across from a shower room. A family bathroom, a double bedroom, a king-size bedroom and a landing games area with a pool table, sit on the third floor. The enclosed garden, adjacent to two parking spaces, is just the right size for al fresco brunches, an evening BBQ or a night at the outdoor cinema. A handy outdoor shower sits via the back gate, ideal for rinsing the sand-caked buckets and spades.

Really lovely well situated house, beach at the end of the road. Perfect for our large family to get together with a good configuration of bedrooms. Appreciated the well stocked, locally sourced, welcome basket with something in for every age and member of our party. We hope to make a return visit at some point.
