Adjacent to the owner’s home, yet enjoying its privacy, the generous retreat benefits from its own beautiful gardens, complete with hot tub. From here, venture into stunning Bodmin Moor, which begins just 6 miles away; plan days out to the coast, about 16 miles away and go walking in Dartmoor National Park, which begins about 12 miles from the property.

Open the front door to this striking holiday home and make your way into the hall, where there is space for your walking boots and jackets. Discover the property has an upside-down design, with its living space up on the first floor. Find the focal point up here is the beautiful lounge/diner, with its vaulted ceiling and revealed timbers. Gather in this splendid space after your exciting days out; light the wood burner, watch the Smart TV and sit down to delicious dinners together at the table. Head off on excursions into both Cornwall and Devon from this exceptional holiday home. While away an afternoon or two in Launceston, with its colourful shops, galleries and boutiques. Visit the castle and the museum and perhaps take a tour of the distillery. Drive 16.5 miles to have a day out at spectacular Crackington Haven, where you can swim in the charming cove, explore the rock pools and walk out along the cliffs. Tintagel, almost 18 miles from the house, is also a fabulous coastal place to visit, especially for anyone eager to see the castle from the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Venture on to Bodmin Moor to go walking or cycling through its dramatic scenery. Go horse riding or even alpaca trekking here and visit beauty spots such as Halvana Plantation, 7.5 miles from the house, where you can follow trails through the trees and look out for roaming ponies.

We would highly recommend this beautiful property, it had everything we could possibly need to make it a real home from home experience. A great base for exploring Cornwall. The house was spotlessly clean and perfect for our party of four generations.

A beautiful barn with so much room. Very homely and comfortable. The barn was immaculately clean. On arrival the owners had put on the side a cake and a bottle of bubbly which is such a lovely touch. It has all the essentials for the kitchen, fairy liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc. The owners have defiantly gone above and beyond for their gRead moreuests. We had a great stay at The Granary .A warm welcome was received. The property was larger than we had anticipated, giving everyone plenty of room. Lovely bathrooms and comfy beds made it a great break. The Granary was really clean and well equipped with all the cookware, tableware and glasses you could possibly need ,also lots of extras that we did Read morenot expect. The hot tub was a special treat on chilly wintery days. Secure garden for the children. Our dogs were also well provided for. Hide

We had a fantastic time staying at the Grannery over the new year. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There were 2 families of 4 on the holiday with plenty of room for all of us. We had such a great time. The owners where very friendly and helpful.

This is an outstanding property, very warm and comfortable. All the amenities were fantastic and the hot tub was fabulous. It was like walking into a brand new house everything was so clean and lovely.

Could not fault our stay at all! The home was immaculate, with all the utensils and furnishing you could possibly need. The photos of this property really do not do it any justice and we was all so amazed. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mr & Mrs Willis whom gave us a bottle of Prosecco and a home made Lemon drizzle cake. They were also so kind, caRead morering and helpful when needed - thank you! The photos do not do the accommodation justice, it is beautifully decorated, spacious inside and had a very homely feel, there were home made scones on our arrive with clotted cream and jam!
