For a long-awaited get together in the heart of County Durham, look no further than this traditional farmhouse that's perfect for nine. Happily hosting an extended group and up to two dogs, the property couldn't offer a better choice for those who want to enjoy some peace and quiet on an evening and plenty of vibrant outdoor adventure throughout the day. Located on the outskirts of the characterful market town of Crook, this accommodation boasts a prime position for appreciating the small-town life of its County Durham residents whilst also connecting you to the North Pennines AONB for an abundance of walking or cycling routes. Discover the grazing farmyard animals on the estate as you head home, letting younger guests say hello to the resident horses before turning in for the night.

Approach the owner's farm via a track to find this detached property standing tall amongst fields and lawns. As you head inside, you'll be greeted with traditional decor that's lovingly maintained to represent its farmhouse origins. Every room in the house is generously spacious with large windows and high ceilings, flooding the space with light and presenting far-reaching countryside views. The ground floor lounge gives way to an open-plan kitchen/diner, adding to the sociable feel of this property. Collapse into cushy seating after a long day of activity, switching on the electric wood burner and the Smart TV for the chance to unwind and binge-watch your favourite shows. When the weather is bright, exit the property via French doors and spend time on the patio. Here, you'll find a garden laid to lawn with plenty of seating options and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Completing the offering of the property are five ever-spacious bedrooms on the first floor, three of which feature TVs for those lazy mornings in bed.
