A beautifully renovated and light-filled townhouse, enjoying views across the bay, set in the Welsh coastal village of Aberdyfi, close to the village’s long sandy beach.

Treat yourselves to an exceptional seaside break when you stay at this impressive, spacious holiday home right on the coast at Aberdyfi. Sleeping eight guests and also happy to accommodate one of their four-legged friends, this bright, four-bedroom abode looks out over the promenade towards the scenic estuary of the River Dyfi. Offering three storeys of inviting accommodation, the splendid, period townhouse could be ideal for two families keen to enjoy a North Wales holiday together or a group of friends wishing to be within the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. Less than 500m from the beach, and with shops, cafes and restaurants all approximately the same distance away, the generous retreat offers a perfect balance of comfort, convenience and access to outdoor activities.

Make your way up the external staircase to the terrace and front door of the house. Find yourselves in a bright, inviting, double-fronted lounge where you can take a few moments to gather your thoughts after each of your busy days out. Watch the Smart LCD TV in here if you choose, read your book or discuss your plans for the following day. Amble through to the kitchen/diner to put the kettle on for a cup of tea and slice of Welsh bara brith sourced locally. Decide whose turn it is to make dinner tonight and set the table for a grand feast. Put towels and beachwear through the washing machine and tumble dryer in the adjacent utility room. As night falls, head up to the family bathroom for a long bath and then a little further up to the first floor, where there is a children’s bunk room, with 3ft beds, and two double bedrooms. An inviting king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room and some restricted head height due to its attractive sloping ceiling, is on the top floor. Wake up in here to beautiful waterside views. Head downstairs to make a cup of fresh coffee in the machine to carry out on to the terrace in front of the house or up some steps and into the courtyard garden at the back, where you can also BBQ on warm days. Those staying here will receive two permits for car parks in the village, including one that is 500m from the property.

Savour everything Aberdyf has to offer, from its beautiful beach to the estuary, where you can walk, canoe and paddleboard. Arrange to charter a boat for your group, taking you out on the water to fish or look for wildlife. Keep your eyes open for dolphins and seals if you go out into Cardigan Bay. Have a go at kite surfing too while you are here if you fancy a challenge.

A lovely, spotlessly clean, well equipped home. Home from home. We have stayed in many rented holiday homes over the years and this is one of the best.

We had a wonderful stay at Bodafon! We have been visiting Aberdyfi for over 30 years, and all agreed this has been our favourite property! Guy and Carla made us very welcome. The house is really well located, the terraces were lovely and the welcoming touches were really appreciated to make a relaxing stay. We will be back. Thank you!

This is a clean and very well decorated and equipped, lovely property, The location is perfect overlooking the seafront and is a short 5 minute walk to the stunning beach and main car park where you can park 2 cars for the whole holiday free of charge, due the supplied parking permits by Guy and Carla. There are no large supermarkets in Aberdyfi buRead moret there is a large co-op in the neighbouring town of Tywyn which is only a 10 minute drive away. We had a wonderfull time and would come again. Lovely place and very nice, helpful owners! The house has got a great amount of space and is very well equipped so we could even keep the kids busy baking on a wet and windy day! Lots of storage and an extra fridge freezer in the utility room.

Everything was perfect the owners went the "extra mile"on every aspect of our stay. Everything needed was provided the house was super clean and so comfortable. The Welcome basket was lovely especially the Prosecco a special start to the holiday. Thank you for making our holiday so amazing. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation, facilities and location. Easy to reach amenities in the village while being away from the more crowded areas. Superb views from the front terrace, especially in the early morning and the evening. Back patio is a bonus as it is sheltered and large enough for all to enjoy a meal outside.

This was a beautifully presented cottage which for our holiday two families of four shared for the week. We had all the kitchen equipment we needed and the welcome treats were greatly appreciated on arrival. There are steps up to the property and the balcony at the front of the property is a great place to sit and people watch. An amazing holiday home Spotlessly clean well equipped and in an excellent location .The views from the cottage were stunning both day and night especially from the balcony/terrace at the front. The patio at the back was perfect for barbecues and a real suntrap To top it all we had hot sunny weather. A perfect week can't wait to go back

We had a fantastic stay in Bodafon and a wonderful week in Aberdovey. Guy and Carla were very welcoming hosts and the property is in an ideal spot within easy walking distance of the beach and has great views of the estuary from all rooms and the terrace at the front of the property. Bodafon is a wonderful place to stay Tastefully decorated, very well equipped and the location is perfect. We loved the views of the estuary from the bedroom windows (the top bedroom is HUGE!) and to have a courtyard area in the back as well as benches in the front meant we could take drinks outside in the evenings.
