What a wonderful location, well-equipped house and kitchen. We five old friends from around the country really enjoyed our stay here. Within easy reach of Penrith and the lakes. We all would recommend staying here.

Wonderful holiday home - all rooms very spacious, beds very comfy, very clean throughout with all you need. Home from home - we thoroughly enjoyed our Xmas stay. Views were a lovely treat.

Ravencroft was exceptionally homely . With absolutely beautiful uninterrupted views. Plenty of room for our three grown up families to share. Our host was was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

A beautiful cottage, in a beautiful location not too far from Penrith town but secluded enough. Plenty of space had my family and friends family stay (total of 7). Kitchen is well equipped and the range cooker is impressive. Would highly recommend!

We have just returned from a 7 day stay at Ravencroft. The location was fantastic being very central to a lot of places. The house is very spacious and had all the comforts you need and more. Very friendly host. We would 100% recommend staying here and would hope to return in the future

It is a great place for a little break, very much convenient as it is near to the M6. The owners have kept the place clean and comfortable for any occupants, i would book it again in the future if available.

The house was spacious and well laid out. It had everything we needed the beds were comfortable and it was super quiet at night. For visiting the local area you need a car or transport but I thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely property, located on the outskirts of Penrith. Ample space for everyone to either enjoy their own space or group activities. Ideal for a base in visiting the surrounding historic sites and of course visits to the lakes. Ullswater is literally 20 minutes away and Windemere about 50 depending on which route you take.

A really lovely, clean and tidy property with everything we needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay. We were a group of 8 adults with 3 cars. There was plenty of crockery and utensils and the extra fridge for drinks was a bonus! Ample parking space. The property has a house at the back and farm buildings at the front and you can see the M6 (away inRead more the distance) from the picture window but it still felt very peaceful and rural. The property is beautiful with even more beautiful views! We had one small issue with the plumbing which was sorted very quickly whilst we were out for the day, with no distribution to our stay! The lady that owns the property was very kind and polite and the property was no longer than a half an hour drive from where we wanted to be!

A really lovely, quality cottage. Clearly recently refurbished, the rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is stunning. Parking is very easy. Quite remote but easy drive to all the northern lakes and penrith is a lovely town, a short drive away. Suited us well for driving on to Scotland.
