Great for families and friends, this slate end-terrace (just minutes from Keswick centre) with its stunning views of Skiddaw and Latrigg, is a welcoming place to relax with its cosy wood burner, enclosed garden, en-suite bedrooms and two lounges.

Head to this handsome, three-storey holiday home in the colourful Lakeland town of Keswick and share the experience with your family and friends. This imposing property sleeps up to eight guests and even welcomes one canine companion too. Spread out and enjoy the space at the four-bedroom townhouse and make the most of its exceptional position for getting out and about in the Lake District. Discover the beauty of Derwentwater, just 900 metres away, or head further afield to Ullswater, 11 miles, or Thirlmere, 5 miles from the house. Make the most of everything the town has to offer too: reserve tables for your group in restaurants and pubs and arrange trips to the Theatre by the Lake.

Let yourselves in via the porch and hall then make your way into the lounge. Play games in here together, chat about your day and find films on the Smart TV to settle down to in the evening. Discover the kitchen has all the equipment you need to help you make homecooked meals for your party with the fresh, seasonal produce you can shop for in Keswick. Pause at the breakfast bar with a cup of coffee or glass of wine while dinner cooks, then lay the table through in the dining room, lighting the wood burner on chilly days. Find you have a utility room, with a useful washing machine, at this level too. Head on up to the first floor to unwind in the alternative lounge in front of a roaring open fire and watch something different on the Smart TV up here. Gaze out at the views or read your book if you feel like a few quiet minutes to yourself. Also at this level, discover a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom and a Jack and Jill bathroom, for use from the landing and the twin room. Climb the stairs to a king-size bedroom and another lovely double, both with en-suite shower rooms, on the top floor of the house. Step out into the courtyard garden whenever the weather is fine: dine, sip a cool drink or make plans for your next adventure out in the fresh air. Discover you have storage for bicycles in a shed at the house. Parking is on the road, subject to availability.

Lovely house in a good location. However, heating locked at a maximum of 19 was NOT warm enough. Only 6 forks for an 8 person house! Otherwise equipment and furnishings were very good.

Stayed at Blencathra Street for a long weekend with friends. As we were so near to the centre of Keswick we didnt cook very much, but the kitchen was extremely well equipped should we have wanted to. The house had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing break. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best houses weve stayed in as a larger group. Good location, very clean, comfortable and probably the most well equipped cottage weve stayed in, in Keswick. Outside, enclosed area was a bonus that we took advantage of after walking, to make the most of the late evening sun and enjoy a drink. We hope to stay again next year

Great cottage in a great location. We have stayed here twice. Gully equity with everything you can think of. Each room has its own en-suite which we like. We love being close to keswick with easy access to shops, restaurants and the lake. The garden is a lovely little sun trap from morning until night, perfect!
