This cottage is a lovely cottage, with lots of room and lovely areas both upstairs and downstairs to socialise and be with family. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with lots of storage. The garden is a lovely space with lots of seating, and views over the mountains. As we visited towards the end of season the property was a little run downRead more and not the cleanest, which was a shame as it took away from that wow factor and made it feel like we didnt get great value for money. Ideal place for multi aged group. Kitchen very well equipped for a holiday rental and tumble dryer was good as had a lot of rain. House was clean and garden well kept. Keswick short walk away for those able to negotiate a steep hill back , otherwise a short car/bus journey. Would not hesitate to recommend.

On arrival at the property, there were crockery, glasses and cutlery left in the dishwasher albeit there were clean. This should have been emptied prior to our arrival!

This is a lovely property. There was 5 of us ranging from 11 years to 88 years old. Downstairs is a open kitchen/dining area/comfy seating area where we spent most of the time as a family. Useful having the three bathrooms. The property is on the hill coming out of Keswick but it is an easy walk down hill into Keswick. The bus stop is extremely cloRead morese and we often used the buses as they were frequent (fares were only 2 a journey). It is a good position to explore the area around Keswick. Hide

The house is comfortable, situated above Keswick with lovely views of Skiddaw and Latrigg at the back and at the front overlooking the lovely garden. It is well equipped for crockery and cutlery and cooking equipment. The house was cold on arrival and the visitor information needs updating regarding how everything works.

The property itself had a beautiful garden which is great to look out to from the conservatory and lots of bird life. Beds are comfy and 2 rooms are en-suite.
