Wander into this bright holiday home and make your way straight upstairs to the lounge/kitchen/diner, with its vaulted ceiling and relaxed ambience. Make a fresh cup of coffee in the machine then watch the Smart TV together or challenge members of your party to a game of pool. Open the doors on to the garden on fine days to create seamless indoor-outdoor living. Find you have all the equipment you need in here to prepare tasty meals for your family and friends, plus ample room to dine together at the table. Also at this level, is a WC, plus two double bedrooms. Two more double bedrooms can be found up steep stairs on the floor above. Visit Okehampton Castle; walk through the woods next to the West Okement River or follow one of the town trails. Find an array of walks that also take you into Dartmoor. Try the 4.5-mile Melton Viaduct Circuit, for example, or the Okehampton Deer Park Circuit, which is of a similar length. Drive 15 miles to Gidley then hike 2 miles to Grey Wethers, two prehistoric stone circles, situated on grassy plateau. Children in your party might like to visit the Miniature Pony Centre, at Newton Abbot, 16 miles away, or go canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding at Roadford Lake, 15 miles away. Also make time during your break to have a day out in Exeter. This vibrant, cathedral city has a wealth of history and an abundance of great places to go shopping and dine out. Plan a group excursion to Bude too, perhaps, which is 28 miles away, and go to the beach while you are there.

Well we where very happy staying hear, the house has everything you need for our stay plenty of room great kitchen, pool table, Jacuzzi brilliant. We have just come back from a Christmas break with our family and what a lovely house, it was decorated beautifully which really made our Christmas special. Its in a great location close by to shops, restaurants and plenty of pubs for a small town. Would definitely visit again.

We had a fabulous staycation with friends at this property! It was a stunning, well kept building with all you needed! The pool table and hot tub were obviously the highlight of the property for us! The only thing Id say is the bed were quite small but comfortable! This property is great if you dont mind stairs. The first set take you to two bedrooms then a further flight takes to the kitchen and living area and two further bedrooms. Stair gates are on the wooden stairs to stop dogs and kiddies. Good location for the centre of Okehampton but parking is a bit tight for big cars on the front. Great stay. Lots to do with games, pool table and hot tub on a rainy day. Nice dog walks nearby and dog friendly places to eat and drink. Would recommend!

What a gem of a property! We were 7 adults, a 3 year old and a dog and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Extremely clean, we cooked 6 of the 7 evenings we were there and had plenty of utensils. The hot tub was used a lot and someone came to clean it every 2 days. Okehampton itself is very quaint, the nearby park was perfect for the 3 year old anRead mored the dog. What a fantastic holiday cottage! There is absolutely everything that you could wish for. The cottage was well equipped. The hot tub was lovely and the pool table was a great addition! Complementary biscuits and Prosecco was a lovely touch.

The house was lovely and spacious, plenty of games and books to keep you occupied on a rainy day or in the evening. The hot tub under cover was a blessing and a real treat. The house was fantastic - we'd definitely recommend! The property was more than big enough to accommodate 6 adults and two dogs without ever feeling like we were on top of one another. Our very first Christmas Family Holiday was made perfect by this beautiful, comfortable, clean, festively decorated home. It was well equipped, warm and spacious. The house was beautifully decorated. All rooms were lovely with such comfortable beds. The kitchen was so well equipped. Kingswood property is absolutely beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything you could ever imagine. The house is absolutely spotless. The lady named Monica who maintained the property Read morelives next door is always on hand if needed nothing is to much trouble. Her kindness really does shine through. Oakhampton itself has all the essential shops that are needed, including 3 supermarkets. To go to the beach and bigger shopping outlets you do have to travel about 40 mins. It's Fab x
