This is an ideal base camp whether you're looking to strike out on long walks or simply stay in your own surroundings.

Situated on a large estate, authentic charm meets modern comfort in this elegant barn conversion. Sleeping eight in four bedrooms, this property is perfect for multi-generational family reunions or a group of friends looking for a warm welcome and a little luxury after a busy day in the Yorkshire Dales. Young and old alike will love exploring the surrounding grounds, whilst urbanites can spend the day pottering the cobbled streets of Richmond discovering tearooms, independent shops, and eateries before returning to relax altogether amongst sophisticated and elegant interiors to enjoy a home-cooked meal.

Retaining original features such as the exposed stone walls, simple and elegant interiors are complemented by large windows and pitched roofs to create a light, airy space with a cream and grey palette punctuated with sophisticated flashes of colour. With a winning combination of style and comfort throughout, this home from home is a wonderful getaway. Gather everyone together for mealtime get-togethers to plan the next days adventures over a homemade meal. With both the kitchen and living room having doors to the garden, have fresh air circulating all day long and start your morning with birdsong and coffee. On chilly evenings, light the wood burner in the living room and snuggle on the sofas with a good book or settle down for a movie night. Retire to the charming bedrooms, simple and serene in soft greys and cream for a restful nights sleep. Older guests will benefit from the two ground-floor bathrooms and three bedrooms which have doors to the patio, ideal for catching the first rays of sun. Outside, indulge in a spot of al fresco dining at the bistro-style table in the shared courtyard, or pour yourself a glass of bubbly and potter to the private garden where a hot tub awaits, ready to soothe your walk-weary limbs after a busy day exploring – the perfect way to end the day. There is ample off-road parking available if the party is arriving separately and, with a pub within walking distance, you can end the day with a delicious meal.
