The perfect setting in which to enjoy sociable, fun evenings, this bolthole sleeps 12 across six bedrooms, providing an amazing destination for groups of friends and reuniting family members. After exciting days exploring the landscapes which you can see from the cottage, what better welcome home than a bubbling hot tub, a warming wood burner and south-facing garden where you can bask in the last of the sun.

Fit for a king, this luxurious cottage exudes exquisite detail, sophisticated style and breathtaking views. With a handful of communal spaces for planning adventures, popping open a bottle and filling with laughter, step inside via the pretty porch and make yourselves at home. Adjoining each other and creating a fantastic space in which to raise a glass and spend lively evenings, are the kitchen and dining room. Both spaces boast terrific views across the undulating Usk Valley and sit beneath exposed beams which add character to the light rooms. When it’s time to wind down and head to bed, make your way up to the first, second and third floors where the six bedrooms are beautifully tranquil with neutral tones and textures. The cottage was perfect. Every detail was considered and the location is better than any property we have stayed in before. Special thanks goes to Adrian who looked after us completely; nothing was too much trouble. Safe to say we had a fantastic holiday in Gludy and will absolutely book again.

This is a large house a couple of miles from Brecon, tucked down a narrow lane. The house is well equipped and very comfortable with a large kitchen, dining room and sitting room (with a great wood burner in it). The views of the mountains from the kitchen and back garden are spectacular. If you're not driving, you'll need a taxi or nominated driveRead morer to get you to pubs and restaurants but overall a great place to stay for a large group. We'd certainly stay again. Hide
