Sleeping eight guests across five bedrooms, this super-stylish terrace home is perfectly placed for guests who want to enjoy a coastal escape in the popular town of Swanage in Dorset. There’s ample space here for everyone to relax in sumptuous surroundings with elegant period-style features. It’s a magnificent home from home and the ideal spot for extended families. Pack a picnic and venture down to the seafront where you can walk along the beautiful promenade and enjoy the sandy shore. Enid Blyton fans may recognise some of the landmarks here, as the author was inspired by Dorset’s charms from Swanage to the Isle of Purbeck (4.5 miles) and Brownsea Island (22 miles). And you’ll find the delights of the Durlston Country Park and Nature Reserve close by (1.5 miles).

Step up to the front door of this period house with contemporary country-style interiors in coastal hues. Admire the feature flooring in the hall and the beautifully furnished living room where there’s a bay window and a Smart TV by an open fireplace - the perfect place to snuggle up with your gang. Step down from the hallway into the kitchen, utility, and dining room which boasts a gas range-style oven with an electric oven and all essential gadgets to make family mealtimes a breeze - you’ll also find a convenient WC off the dining area. Sink into the cosiest of bedrooms across two upper floors which enjoy Victorian feature fireplaces and there are stylish family bathrooms on both floors (note the lower ceilings on the second floor). Outside, there’s an enclosed courtyard garden with a raised deck where you can gaze across the rooftops at sea views - a great place to gather together for evening drinks under the stars. You’ll find roadside parking opposite the property, subject to availability, and there’s shops, pubs, and beach within walking distance.

Brilliant location. Great accommodation fir two couples with 3 or 4 children. Some equipment could do with renewing. The bedding could be better. But overall a great holiday house.

We enjoyed our family holiday here - very convenient location and lots of nice walks near by. The house itself is tired and we felt needed a bit of a spruce up in places to make it feel cleaner, but that didnt stop us enjoying ourselves and making the most when the sunshine came out

A lovely weekend away with the family staying in this full of character house. Great location but it is at the top of a steep hill. Thought it was good value for money. We would recommend staying here although the parking can be difficult.

We had a fantastic holiday. What a beautiful and welcoming house, well suited to a family group. A short walk from the town and beach. So comfortable and well equipped. Possibly not suited to elderly relatives or those with mobility issues due to the steep hill, but for others it so close to the town that it made for a brilliant daily work out!!
