Sympathetically renovated, this wonderful barn conversion blends natural materials with contemporary fixtures and fittings to create a special property where you and your loved ones will feel at home. On entering the property, you’ll find yourself in the hallway that leads into the handy utility room – the perfect place for muddy boots and wet coats. Moving on, you’ll come to the large, well-equipped kitchen/diner, where you’ll find everything you’ll need to cook up some treats. From here, head through into the spacious, open-plan lounge/diner. At the heart of the lounge is a large stone fireplace that houses a wood burner, which makes it warm and snuggly of an evening, whilst the dining area has plenty of seating to ensure you can enjoy special meals together. Heading upstairs, there is a mezzanine area above the lounge where you’ll find all four well-presented bedrooms: a super-king-size master with an en-suite bathroom, one king-size bedroom, one double and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom completes this floor. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with a decking area for al fresco dining against the spectacular countryside backdrop. There’s also ample parking for three cars.

The cottage is lovely, in a beautiful location. There was plenty of space and good facilties for our party of 6 adults, 2 under-5s and 2 dogs. We also appreciated the caretaker's flexibility re: check-in times. We enjoyed our stay as 2 families which included 5 children between 1 and 8 years old. The master bedroom had plenty of room for a travel cot and the cottage had a high chair for us to use. Great place for a large group and had put a tree up for Christmas. Some facilities starting to look a bit worn but usable. Plenty of space, and a nice fire, comfortable sofas and lovely large table for big groups to eat at. The whole family enjoyed this stay. The accommodation is spacious and well designed and adults, children and dogs were all happy. We particularly liked the outside space as it was completely enclosed and safe for children and pets. The bbq was also appreciated. The walks directly from the back gate were a huge bonus and very beautiful.
