A lovely, clean, well maintained and very comfortable place to stay. Really well suited to stay with the kids, our extended family and two dogs. And great location for nice walks, pub lunches and to explore the local area.

Great location for visiting loads of local sights and access to Wareham along the river walk. The house was spacious and clean , ideal for an extended family of 7 adults with 3 cars. This is a beautiful, spacious house in a great location. We were 6 adults and we easily parked 3 cars in front of the property. The walk from the property into Wareham is lovely, it is just under a mile and takes you along a lovely path alongside the river (we even saw a herd of deer in the fields alongside it). A great property for larger groups. We had 3 generations and it was lovely and spacious. Room for kids and dog to run around and for adults to relax. Close to lots of places to see and do. Easy walk onto Wareham where there are plenty of cafe's and Pub's to choose from.

Perfect, accommodation, spotlessly clean, so well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for a family holiday in delightful Dorset. The location was quiet and peaceful, just the spot to escape to for a rest from a busy life. I cannot recommend this lovely house enough.

Betula House is the perfect place to stay to explore Dorset. The house is very well designed for family stays with lots of bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need. Being able to take dogs was essential for our family and the space works really well to do that. Nicky and her husband were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Excellent house with a lovely fully enclosed garden. Everything that we needed was provided (including a stairgate at the bottom of the stairs for the dog). The holiday cottage was excellent for working at home for my children and the Wi-Fi was brilliant. Lots of lovely dog walks just across the road in fantastic fields and also a river walk to Wareham. The property is ideally situated to visit the coast and Nature Reserves. While the property is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need, please note the Games room is actually for children and the owner lives next door.

Betula House is in a very quiet location, with a large garden on an estate with a very rural feel to it and we enjoyed watching the numerous birds, bats and squirrels. The house is well equipped and feels spacious and owners are next door if you need any help. We loved this house. It feels really spacious, the living room is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos. Its light, well equipped, a few minutes walk to the river/canal and also the heath but also not far from a drive to more coastal walks (we had our dog with us).
