On the ground floor, you’ll discover two large, opulent lounges, which ooze character and provide a comfortable place to unwind. One boasts a cosy wood burner, while both have inviting sofas which everyone will love sinking down onto after an adventurous day. The sleek and contemporary kitchen will be a welcome sight for the chefs of the group, with a Rangemaster oven and hob to keep them busy. Meals can be as formal or informal as you wish with a breakfast bar, kitchen table, or the separate dining room giving everyone plenty of choice. When it’s time to retire, you’ll discover seven bedrooms across two floors. Each has been beautifully designed in neutral tones, to create a restful atmosphere and peaceful place to sleep. Three of the bedrooms are on the second floor, with characterful sloping ceilings. We had a wonderful stay at Stantway House. There were 16 of us but plenty of room for more. The house was very grand, spotless and comfortable, well decorated with all amenities. For a large, old house it was very warm. The heating was pre-set and we could turn the temperature up or down as required. There is a pretty garden with seating and the hoRead moreuse is well located in a rural area but close to the A48. Plenty of walks in the area. John went through everything with us on arrival.
