This impressive property sleeps 16 guests across eight bedrooms with ample parking; located high in the glens and surrounded by moorland, there is no need to worry about getting in the party spirit – so get out the bagpipes and get the party started! Fuzzy heads will be long gone after a wind-blown Highland walk to admire the views across the glens and moors. Kirrimuir is the nearest town, lying 6 miles away and is well provided with shops and restaurants.

 

You are in for a warm Scottish welcome as you enter the property down some stairs into the grand, tartan red entrance hall, pop any bulky outdoor gear in the wooden wardrobes, with a washer/dryer in the laundry room, drying off or storing muddy boots will be no problem. The jewel in the crown of this property lies in the stunning open plan lounge/dining room, which will immediately become a hub of social activity. The décor creates a welcoming, country-style atmosphere, perfect to set the mood for your gathering. Throw some logs on the open fire, crack open the whiskey and tell stories as you relax in comfy sofas. Complete with banquet-style tables, the scene is set for some fun dinner parties lasting well into the night. The spacious kitchen with large central island and the designer oven is perfect for budding chefs to cook up feasts and with two freezers available, you can store enough food for an army. It’s not far to stumble to bed with four attractive twin rooms located on the ground floor and 2 double bedrooms upstairs enjoying views of the moors. The atmospheric and unspoilt Angus Glens offer superb walking routes through the beautiful moorland, and due to your location, you’ll be able to lace up your hiking boots and head straight out of the front door. The scenic Cairngorms National Park is just a few miles away and offers a range of activities to keep everyone entertained, whether that’s hiking, mountain biking, climbing or horse riding. If you’re visiting in the winter, take a 29-mile drive to Scotland’s largest ski and snowboard area, Glenshee, which caters for beginners and more experienced skiers. At any time of the year though, the chair lift is still a superb way to take in the scenery and is certain to appeal to everyone.

For something to keep the whole family entertained, a 9-mile drive will take you to Glamis Castle, which offers six centuries of history to discover. Take time to explore the garden and grounds, while the little ones enjoy the playground and picnic area.

The bustling city of Dundee is 24 miles away and has something to satisfy everyone. Discover some delicious places to eat, take a wander along the waterfront, or make a splash at the popular leisure pool. It’s also home to the V&A Museum, the first ever dedicated design museum in Scotland, and the only V&A museum anywhere in the world outside London.

Amazing accommodation for our relaxing family break with 8 adults and 7 children from 2-10. Size of living/dining area even bigger than you could possibly imagine. Children had a ball running round and climbing on and jumping off the internal stone divider wall!!! Fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable ensuite bedrooms. This was an excellent facility for our golf weekend. The facilities were very good, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen excellent. The location is a bit out of the way but that suited us as it was very quiet.

Beautifully located accommodation for large groups with lots of space. All en-suite bedrooms are a bonus which are comfortable clean. Large communal sitting area but can be a bit noisy at times when lots of people are taking at the same time. Well equipped, spacious kitchen with an amazing aga.

My extended family stayed for a long weekend at Pearsie lodge to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday. We were a full house of 19 including 3 babies and 5 children. The lodge was perfect for us. It was so special to be able to get together as a family and have the room for children to play, adults to relax by the fire, and all sit around one big table.Read more I would highly recommend this accomodation for family groups. We are a family with young children and young adults and all had a great time. The entrance hall to the Lodge is very impressive also the living area, all bedrooms were comfortable and all had a hairdryer provided. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need to make a meal, other items were in various units in the living room, and Read moregames in the entrance hall. We enjoyed our stay. Great space in the living area for entertaining. Kitchen was well equipped. Showers were great and rooms spacious. Unfortunately even though we requested use of the BBQ mentioned the grills were extremely rusty and not usable. More outdoor seating would be good so everyone could sit outside and enjoy the views. A wonderful stay for our Walking Club. The Lodge was superb and we all had a fabulous time exploring the hills around the Angus Glens. Pearsie Lodge was superb. We were a group of 5 adults and 7 children; all en-suite bedrooms is really helpful, and the lounge is enormous. It's brilliantly equipped for a large group - the kitchen has everything you could need to cook large meals, 2 washing machines, plenty of storage etc. It's beautifully remote with lots of wildlife and walks on Read morethe doorstep, but easy to reach the coast, the glens, and southern Cairngorms.
