Accommodating up to 16 guests across eight plush bedrooms, this holiday retreat of both US Presidents Bush on the edge of the Caingorm National Park offers a truly luxurious group break in the Highlands.

Used as a holiday home by both US Presidents Bush, this elegant rural retreat sits among 20 acres of gardens and grounds on the beautiful Brewlands Estate. Offering luxurious accommodation and sleeping up to 16 guests across eight sumptuous bedrooms, this imposing house set on the site of a tranquil 13th-century monastic settlement is a wonderful place for special celebrations. Enjoy cocktails in front of the fire in the drawing room, a lovely room filled with antique furniture and artwork or catch up on family news in the peaceful tartan library. Practise your serve on the tennis court before soaking in the private hot tub. Riverbank rambles, Munros and woodland walks are all within walking distance from the house and the Cateran Trail runs through the estate. There are seven golf courses within 15 miles of the lodge.

Step through the double front door of your traditional stone holiday home and into the spacious entrance hall where you can greet your guests as they arrive. Enjoy lazy evenings in the drawing room, playing parlour games in front of the open fire or sinking into one of the cosy chairs for conversation late into the night. Take a quiet moment in the tartan library, curled up with the daily papers or a good read. The kitchen has been designed with large groups in mind and comes equipped with four ovens, two dishwashers, fridges and freezers to make your stay as restful as possible. Gather together in the formal dining room, a wonderful room for celebratory meals. Catering can be arranged upon request for a special occasion, or for the whole of your stay if required. The Savoy trained housekeeper will visit for two hours each day, enabling you to relax and enjoy being looked after. Let off steam in the games room where you can enjoy a spot of friendly competition. For your convenience a utility room provides laundry facilities and there is a drying room for outdoor clothing and shoes. Climb the imposing staircase to the first floor where you can find six of the eight bedrooms. There are two well-appointed king-size bedrooms with plush beds dressed in crisp linens and en-suite bathrooms with separate power showers. Two twin zip and link bedrooms enjoy en-suite facilities and there are two generous doubles and a spacious family bathroom. Continue upstairs to the second floor where you will reach a further twin zip and link bedroom with en-suite and an additional twin room. Outside, enjoy a game of tennis and croquet, spread out your blankets for a picnic on the lawn or fire up the BBQ for a sociable evening dining alfresco.
