This is a contemporary holiday home boasting beautiful views across the North Devon coast and is less than 1 mile from Westward Ho! This pretty coastal village has a great selection of restaurants, shops, cafes, family-friendly amusements and 3 miles of sandy beach to explore.

If you like your accommodation to have bags of character, then you will be happy with this choice. It’s a reverse level property, so the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is located upstairs on the first floor. This clever design enables you to take advantage of the fantastic sea views from the living area. Presenting a contemporary style, the lounge provides colourful leather sofas and chairs, clean white walls and bi-folding doors which open onto a balcony overlooking the sea. This is a multi-purpose space where you can relax in front of the wood burner, watch a movie on SkyTV, prepare a meal in the well-equipped kitchen or gather together for a family meal. The four bedrooms are located on the ground floor with the master bedroom boasting an en-suite bathroom and bi-folding doors leading out onto the garden. There’s also a snug here with French doors that lead onto the garden. This shared space complete with Smart TV is the perfect place to relax and unwind. With 3 miles of golden sandy beach to explore, Westward Ho! Is a great spot for families with children and those who wish to share the holiday experience with their four-legged friends. Take a stroll along the beach or simply sit and watch as the water sports enthusiasts take to the sea. Running through the village is the South West Coast Path which is popular with walkers and cyclists and offers spectacular scenery and wildlife. Just 2 miles in the opposite direction, is the quaint fishing village of Appledore with its colourful fishermen’s cottages and quaint narrow streets. If it’s fun and adventure that your family craves, then a trip to The Big Sheep theme park is a must and only 3 miles from your doorstep. Alternatively, a visit to RHS Garden Rosemoor is highly recommended, and a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon.

Great accommodation with wonderful views. Very clean, smart, and comfortable. Unfortunately the description fails to note the pitch'n'putt course right outside the back garden, which meant that golfers could look straight into the main bedroom, and also detracted from the privacy of the balcony. Also, the footpath across the Burrows was very soggy Read more(blame the weather) and absolutely covered in sheep and horse poo, which made it less than pleasant to walk the dogs there. Hide

Wonderful location , great views of the burrows and sea in the distance, really lovely house. Garden enclosed and perfect for our dog! The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Shops are close by and there are a variety of eating places close to the beach catering for every taste. The beach was great, long when the tide was out and quickly covered as the tide came in

Beautiful property with a beautiful balcony view. Nicely decorated and kitted out property. Great location too. Host replied very quickly to issues and was very helpful and friendly. We had a very smooth and happy experience all in all.

Very nice spacious accommodation and dogs were welcome. However, it was disappointing that the beach was further away than anticipated and on the other side of a golf course with a sea view in the distance. Good location for exploring the north Devon coast though.

Absolutely the best holiday accommodation Ive ever had in the uk! I miss the view from the balcony & our evening strolls along the burrows into Westward Ho! 3 generations of the same family, plenty of space for us all, comfortable beds, garden for the kids. Loved watching the sun go down over the sea. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This is the best holiday rental I have ever had, immaculately clean, spacious, very comfortable, very quiet and fabulous location. The view is wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Quick walk to a huge beach and a good range of places to eat in Westward Ho! I would love to spend the whole summer there!

Beautiful property and fantastic location. Would recommend and go back for another stay. Amazing views over the golf course towards the sea and also great sunsets. 10 minute walk to the beach and also town. The beach is miles of perfect sand and most of it is dog friendly all year, with Lifeguards in 2 locations of the stretch. An excellent house, well presented and in an ideal location. The heating to the upstairs kitchen/dining/ lounge area worked well. The ground floor bedroom to the right seemed to be quite chilly, the temperature there did not reflect the temperature shown on the hallway thermostat.
