Stay at this handsome period home at West Lulworth and enjoy having the dramatic Jurassic Coast right on your doorstep. Parties of up to eight guests can stay at the former vicarage, making it ideal for group celebrations or two families. Enjoy the 19th century beauty of the four-bedroom home, built from local Purbeck stone. Relax in its elegant, sun-filled rooms, play croquet on the lawn and take in the views across the countryside. Take two happy hounds with you and enjoy long walks along the South West Coast Path or wander down to the beach to play on the sand and splash in the sea.

Step into the house and find yourselves in a traditional hall leading to a downstairs cloakroom. Wander on into the kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare hearty feasts for your group. Pause at the breakfast table with a cup of coffee in the morning or wander out into the sunshine through the back door. Find the capacious lounge is a grand space, where you and your friends and family can spread out, play games and light the open fire in the marble fireplace. Enjoy the airy ambience, as well as the period features, and simply gaze out at the views. Find a useful utility room, with tumble dryer, on the ground floor and follow the staircase up to find two of your bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, on the first floor. A family bathroom and wet room are also at this level. Members of your party wishing to watch TV or escape with their book, will also find a second lounge here. The two remaining bedrooms are on the second floor, where there are lower door frames and the rooms have some restricted head height due to sloping ceilings. A lovely interesting house, great to have the space for three families to spread out in. Children loved the space and toys in the cupboard to play with. Good paths that were ok for pushchair or walking all the way to the sea.

the Old Vicarage was just what I wanted - lots of space to gather my grown up family. A short stroll to the coast for sea swims and a 5 minute walk for a great Sunday lunch at The Castle Inn makes this home so easy. We played croquet, enjoyed the open fire and enjoyed feeling as if we'd been invited to someone's quirky home for the weekend.
