This superb house, standing in 2 acres of land in the lovely village of Morwenstow, provides a spacious and comfortable holiday home, and is a short distance from sandy beaches and rugged coastlines.

Sit back and enjoy sweeping countryside views from this peaceful rural hamlet close to the Devon/Cornwall border. As it’s part of the Hartland Heritage Coast area, rugged beauty is all around as you go in search of secluded beaches and tales of shipwrecks and smugglers. This distinctive holiday home is a fabulous base for exploring the natural beauty of the area and is around 8 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude. Relax, recharge and reconnect with your extended family or group of friends as you bask in the great outdoors. Sleeping up to nine guests, the property will particularly appeal to families with young children as it boasts a play area with trampoline, swings and wooden playhouse. The kids can also help to feed the adorably cute farm animals.

The property is stylishly decorated throughout, with soft plush furnishings, ornate mirrors and fine attention to detail. There are two comfortable lounges to relax in, one with a wood burner that you can snuggle in front of on chilly evenings. When it comes to mealtimes, grab a snack at the stylish breakfast bar while catching up with the news headlines on TV or enjoy something more substantial in the attractive dining area where everyone can sit down together. In summer, throw open the French doors that lead outside to the large enclosed garden for a sizzling BBQ. The ground floor of the property also features a comfy double bedroom and shower room, as well as a delightful sunroom overlooking the garden, with views of the surrounding countryside. Upstairs you’ll find four more comfy bedrooms, including the master king-size room with TV, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. After an action-packed day, hole yourself up in the bathroom to ease your aching muscles in the free-standing bath.

We can't fault the house whatsoever, it is beautifully presented, equipped and comfortable. Every effort has been made to ensure guests requirements are catered for. I'm so glad that I found and booked the house, especially as it was for such a special celebration. If there was anything that could improve the house, it would be the addition of a hoRead moret tub, perhaps. Other than that, it is perfect and we would definitely stay here again. Hide
