Artfully converted barn with plenty of natural light and original features, this is a stunning venue for spending quality time with loved ones and exploring all that the Isle of Wight has to offer.

A stay in this stylish converted barn is the ideal opportunity to rest and explore the Isle of Wight, whilst making lasting memories with your nearest and dearest. Offering things to do for all ages and a generous sociable living space, you'll find room for eight guests to truly unwind, whilst only half a mile from the beach.

This contemporary property offers traditional barn conversion-style elements, such as high vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls and original barn doors. The stunning open-plan living area stretches the entire length of the property, creating a fun hub for the house. On one side, you'll find a games room packed with pool table, bar billiards table and a host of books and games, whilst on the other side, you'll find a cushy seating area with TV, DVD player and fire. (Logs are not included). In the centre stands a huge farmhouse table that's ideal for enjoying a special meal or a competitive board game tournament. A kitchen can be found just off this room and offers all the mod cons, including range oven, dishwasher and both washing machine and tumble dryer. Three of the bedrooms can also be found on this floor, leading off the main room and providing comfortable beds that you'll look forward to sinking right into, as well as doors leading out onto the garden. The property is completed in the attic, where a unique spiral staircase leads you up to the rafters and offers a versatile family room or ideal sleeping space for kids. Surrounding the property there's glorious greenery, a private garden and terrace furniture with BBQ.

You will, however, find the local town of Bembridge a mere 1.5 miles away, an extremely enjoyable walk in the sunshine. Here you'll find freshly caught fish and chips, local pubs and some boutique-style shops, as well as a larger pebbled beach just 2 miles away. You'll also find this spot of the country littered with National Trust spots that are well worth visiting, including the dramatic Bembridge Fort (1.5 miles) and the Grade I listed Bembridge Windmill (1.5 miles). For a trip a little further afield, the seaside resort of Shanklin is accessible just 5 miles down the coast. This traditional town offers plenty in the way of things to do, including seafront crazy golf and a stunning coastal gorge.

Really enjoyed the spacious communal area in this lovely barn cottage. Comfortable beds, plenty of toilet/washing facilities and a very well-equipped kitchen. Great base to explore the island. Location some distance from Bembridge centre so definitely need own transport though there is a nearby bus stop. Would definitely use again and recommend to Read moreothers. Hide

Lovely converted barn. Very warm and cosy. Ideal for a family. Our sons enjoyed playing pool. Drawers full of games to keep the youngsters entertained. Pub within a few mins walk but on a fast road. Sadly no supermarket nearby just a small Co-op a short drive away. So stock up beforehand. The walk to the beach is very steep and down a narrow track.Read more No parking so elderly or less able walkers won't be able to visit it. Not for the faint hearted. Hide

A beautiful barn which was so well equipped, it was as if we were at home. Great supply of games on top of pool and bar billiards which was fun as the weather let us down over new year. Easy walks from the doorstep for dogs.

Loved this cottage . Went with my kids and their partners , plus dogs . The dogs had plenty of room to roam at the front of the house in the enclosed garden . The house is very well equipped and has plenty of cooking utensils. We did find the spiral staircase to the bedroom with the king size bed a bit awkward to negotiate . We would happily returnRead more and thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Hide
