Georgian farmhouse with large spacious rooms, ideal for celebrations with hot tub, games room, newly fitted kitchen, lake and garden with private fly fishing. In Walton, Radnor Valley, it’s perfect for families to explore the heritage, culture and countryside in the Welsh Marches and borders.

Embrace Welsh country life at this striking farmhouse that has spacious rooms ideal for a celebration or families getting together, which has famous links to Wordsworth and Coleridge who visited in the 19th century. Packed with period charm, it's a fantastic space to unwind and a great base for exploring the Radnor Valley and beyond. Sleeping ten in four bedrooms, including one spacious family bedroom with its own lounge area, there is room for the whole family or group of good friends to enjoy some quality time together. Spend your days exploring the nearby trails and villages and your evenings enjoying BBQs and garden parties overlooking the lake.

Tear yourself away from the beautiful surroundings and into the Grade II listed Georgian property, where you'll find exposed beams, feature fireplaces, and thoughtful little extras to make your holiday special. Gather around the wood burner-effect oil fire in the large lounge and relax with family and friends. Show off your competitive side in the games room and test your pool skills – although, be warned, the mesmerizing lake views are quite the distraction! You will enjoy amazing views from the three delicately decorated bedrooms on the first floor too, while the second-floor family bedroom enjoys a coal-effect electric fire to keep you toasty on cool evenings. If you choose to stay in for a delicious home-cooked dinner, the newly fitted downstairs kitchen/breakfast room makes the ideal setting to create an entertaining meal with easy access straight through to the dining room which commands fantastic views across the 4.5-acre lake – the perfect backdrop for your meal as you watch the ducks and swans. Kids will love the garden climbing frame and swings, while the adults enjoy an al fresco drink by the portico or at the summer house. Off-road private parking for four cars is available at the property. Please note the property is attached to the owner's wing, although privacy is assured on this working farm. The house is approximately 30 yards from the un-fenced lake, children must be supervised when using the gardens.
